One of the best Persian foods I’ve ever tried!! I got the shrimp kabob, grilled tomato, and yogurt drink, which were all full of flavor. Definitely coming back next time I’m in town. Thank you to the owner, Ahmad!
Delightful host! Excellent food and great ambience. Will definitely be frequenting this place. Loved it.
The Tehran chicken was to die for, absolutely amazing! Hummus was some of the best I've ever had. Will definitely be recommending it to everyone I know!
What a great experience. I have been telling everyone how great the food is here. A must try for anyone traveling through the midtown area.
A delicious and pleasant dining experience. The owner/operator is charming, informative and I can tell he really cares enough to do a good job with the food he serves. A small but well kept and decorated atmosphere.
Oh my goodness. This place is absolutely phenomenal... wife and I shared the Tehran Chicken and Fessen Jun. Omg ? one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long while. Definitely going back. Ahmad himself made it, and he was such a nice guy, and made sure we were taken care of at all times! My toddler and one year old son ate it all up too, and kept asking for more!Ahmad was also so friendly to my kids as well. Love this place. Thanks Ahmad! You’re the best!11/10.
Everything was absolutely delicious, the service was perfect, and I left with a giant smile on my face. The restaurant is beautiful and I truly felt like I was an honored guest in his home. Do not skip the baklava, order the hummus, eat everything!!!!
An absolute waste of time and money. My wife and I dined here on 6 January. We ordered the Baba Goo Nooj as an appetizer and the Tehran Chicken and Kabob Kubideh as our entrees. The Baba Goo Nooj was served flat on a plate with no spoon which made it difficult to maneuver onto the pita with a butter knife. The entrees were very unimpressive. The menu says the Tehran Chicken will melt in your mouth. Certainly an overstatement. The Kabob Kudideh was even less impressive. The meat is a ground up concoction of beef and lamb and tasted like a meatloaf on a stick. My wife also opted for a vodka tonic which to our surprise was billed out at $12.00. Also, the check came with both the entree and appetizer prices rounded up to the next ten dollar increment. When we pointed this out to the server she said she always charged like that. When we said it didn't match the menu price she said it reflected the online prices. When we pointed out that was also untrue by showing her the online menu she became frustrated since she knew she was caught. As to the owner and his welcoming of all into the restaurant - again untrue. This is only the case if he knows you. He doted on certain tables and ignored others. Both my wife and I left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. We would never eat here again. Please don't be fooled by the positive reviews as we were. Diners beware.
There are two menus with the same entries one with ~$10 per meal and the other is ~$20 per meal! And this is how they actually look like!Imagine this being a $20 meals
We truly enjoyed the selection and hospitality during our meal with a group of 8. Excellent flavors, quality and serving portions.
