Came to the window, needed a second to figure out what I wanted. The lady told me to order whenever and when I tried to no one responded. Waited for close to 10 minutes and no one ever responded so I backed out and left. Terrible service
I love Abelardo's more than most, but unfortunately this may be the worst location in Omaha, it being a small express version probably doesn't help. Food came out freezing cold despite a 5 mins drive home. Staff was nice and food tasted good after a good microwave session, but portions were way off compared to others.
I was here multiple times on different occasions. The food here is decent. The only problem I have is it's neither traditional Mexican, nor American Mexican. Food is not authentic Mexican like one would imagine. Portions are decent but could get expensive. The good:1) Accessible.2) Drive through and Drive through only.3) Food is ok.4) Portions are good5) Fried TacosThe bad:1) Busy2) Weird drive through and if it gets busy your car will be in the line on road.3) one person serve takes call and serves (through window) on both the sides.4) You can't customize and the people barely understand English.5) Salsa is very runny6) Not many options for Vegan or Vegetarians7) As they are always busy no special treatment.8) No itemized receipts.(atleast the couple times I was here)9) Soft Tacos become mushy as the Tortilla is very soft. I had to eat with a fork the few times I was here.
Good food but today when I tried to order through the drive through I was treated rudely by someone that didnt speak much english. All I heard was the words hornados a lot of times, so I believed they were speaking to another employee. This went on for quite some time. And they said pendejo on the other line and a lot of spanish. I mean who talks to someone over the intercom with spanish and says hornados repeatedly instead of saying something in english. After waiting 5 minutes and asking hello? I hear pendejo again and then no service for you, move. So I went on my way. this is unusual occurrence and I wont be coming there again as it was a complete waste of time
Two drive-thru windows?? One on each side of the little building? Talk about fresh, fast, convenient, and as always, delicious! Abelardos for the win!!

You get a very good portion of food for the money. They have several locations thru out the metro area. Slow but good.
Abelardo’s has an expansive menu, quality food and large portions. I’m currently living in Los Angeles and have had some great Mexican food there, but each time I come back to Abelardo’s it never disappoints. Oh and being open until 3am is a huge plus with the area lacking late night options
Always good. This time I had the ground beef chimi combo and had no complaints
Have had good experiences previously but ordered chips and salsa with my entree and was given chips with a container of chopped onions and cilantro. In what world is this considered salsa??
