402 catered our Carson Days celebration and the food was outstanding! The smoked turkey was delicious, the pulled pork was juicy and flavorful.We loved the smoked bacon macaroni and cheese and the baked beans! ?Seriously great bbq and a huge assortment of sauces for whatever trips your trigger.
The burnt ends are amazingly tender. I’ve tried 3 sauces. My favorites so far are the Alabama white sauce and KC sweet bourbon. The beans are sweet with a jalapeño kick. The jalapeño poppers definitely have a kick but are bacon heavy and yummy. The cole slaw is sweet with a nice tang. The portions are very generous and I make an order of burnt ends last for 2 meals. You can also get shots of cherry flavoring for your drink! The workers are friendly and fast. I highly recommend!

First time. We WILL BE BACK. We ordered the brisket sandwich and the loaded fries. YUMMY. The brisket was tender and flavorful. The fries were outstanding. Seasoned home fries covered in cheese baked beans and pulled pork. A meal all by themselves. Recommend them!!
The ribs here are absolutely amazing! I went through and ordered a half rack of rips with a side of max and cheese and didn’t know what to expect from a drive through barbecue restaurant. I gotta say, this place has excellent ribs! Meat was falling right off the bone. They had the smokers out back all lined up so I knew they meant business. This place is fantastic!

Perfect,perfect,perfect 5 Star, brisket not dry best around smoky not over done! Hot beef sandwich we loved( melts in your mouth not real chewy)?….we will return. And great polite friendly workers! Love the drive thru!
The meat is moist and melts in your mouth! You can tell the potato salad and coleslaw are both homemade! Soooo delish ?. Happy with a full tummy! Best BBQ I've had in a while!!!
The only reason I'm giving them 1 star is because they are using real offset smokers behind the building and I respect that as an avid barbeque/smoker myself, other than that I wouldn't recommend. Food is overpriced for the portions and it had zero seasoning. You shouldn't have to drown your meat in sauce for it to have flavor! And when I say zero seasoning, the bread had more flavor than the meat, which had maybe the slightest hint of smoke. Brisket was overcooked to the point that it turned into a roast, I thought it was going to be nice slices of brisket with fat and bark but it was pot roast. If you're reading this looking for great barbecue I recommend Boxer Barbecue in Council Bluffs, hands down the best I've had in the metro. I will not be returning to 402 BBQ again.
