It was not a great experience. 7of us to Brunch on a Sunday. The person that seated us was great (GM?). When the waitress finally came to our table, the downhill slide began. Our waters came to the table and then nothing. We had to flag the waitress down to order as she was busy in her own world. The music for a brunch was too loud and the thump was terrible...maybe better for a Saturday night at the bar. She stayed on one end of the table and we had to yell our orders and have someone tell her what we said...she did not move. She did not know the menu nor could she waitress. Our drinks sat on the bar for about 10 minutes. We asked 3 times to have the channel changed for the live hockey game, one person pretended to try and then gave up. When checking out, she completely charged us wrong even after we walked her through it all. It took 3 people to try to void it out and clean it up. We sat there for over 20 minutes trying to get out of there. The food is the only thing that helped the experience even though the biscuits were very dry. The food is why they have a 1 star review. Very disappointing.
Still pretty good place for brunch activities, but noticed that they seem to be using ground beef in their “sausage” gravy now. It’s not a big deal, but this place used to be the spot for this dish, now it’s just kinda bland beef gravy and biscuits. Just like mom used to make!
After a terrible experience with the cook and bartender at Benson Brewery, I walked to 1912 Benson in hopes of ordering lunch. Not only were the staff kind and pleasant, the food was delicious! I’m giving four stars because the salad I ordered was very plain and was more lettuce then the tomato and cheese toppings. The salad was quite pricey.
Took a little longer then I was thinking. People after us, got food before us. Wasn't to happy about that. But my server was great ??ill come back just cause if him. ( black dude,with glasses)
Really great food! Service was so personable. Tyler was very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Brussel sprouts!
I was recently at 1912 and my food was so fresh and so delicious!! Tyler was our waiter and we had a big group and he handled it perfectly and was so quick and our drinks were always full. Great waiter and great bar with fun music!! Will be recommending often!
Foods delicious and the drinks are all tasty love the bartenders always my go to spot for Benson ! Best place for brunch !
Food was pretty good but the service could have been better. I did the bottomless mimosas and between glasses our waiter disappeared for 30 min and when I asked if he could bring me two for the time but was denied.
Worst service!! The fried chicken looked burnt to a crisp!!! I will never go back!
