I usually love yia yias and go to the downtown location. We were on this side of town and decided to drop in and the experience was awful. There was no changing table in either bathroom. When we got our pizza they didn’t give us plates or bread like usual. Went to try and get silverware and they were all out. The beer keg was turned to high and it was all foam. To top it off the pizza that usually my favorite tasted like someone had spilled an entire shaker of black pepper on it. We will not be coming back to this location.
It's been a hot minute since I have had Yia Yia's and my first time at this location. Caught the staff just an hour before closing on a Sunday night, but I just got to town, so I was unfortunately THAT guy. Despite that, the staff was lovely. Looked like a really nice selection of beers at this location, but alas, I could only have water this trip.We ordered an extra large The Local and I forgot just how good Yia Yia's pizza is. The Local is basically a supreme pizza, and it was super tasty. If you haven't been, Yia Yia's is New York style pizza with large, super thin crust. They do a bang up job of it too. I also had a side salad with Caesar, and while it was nothing spectacle, it was a good salad that got me some fresh greens. I'm tempted to try their full Caesar Salad, but someone at the bar ordered one and it was massive. My friends didn't want any salad, otherwise that would have been the route to go and split it.
Good pizza! Thin, crispy crust, plenty of toppings. Side salad was just ok. First time here and I'd eat their pizza again.
One of my favorite places downtown! The service is always great and the beer selection is endless. The Pacific is my favorite pizza!
After a 12h drive, we were starving and looking forward to getting a pizza and cheesy bread delivered. I’ll be honest, it was incredibly underwhelming which was surprising considering the reviews of this place. To be frank, it tasted and looked like a frozen pizza except I’ve had much better frozen pizzas. It was also cold when it was delivered, despite only being 5 minutes from the location.
Really good crust and an awesome variety! Tons of choices to make your own or several combinations. The bar tender made a killer bloody mary!!
