Today's lunch at VINCENZO’S was excellent. I ordered their soup and salad. The creamy Italian Venetian soup with spinach was outrageous. Creamy, hearty and not over salted like so many restaurants’ canned soups can be. I would be shocked to find out the soup was not made fresh today. My salad came with their homemade Italian Vinaigrette Dressing that was bright and the salad dressed perfectly. The lettuce was crisp and was accompanied by just a touch of parmesan cheese which added a little savory touch to the salad. The lunch came with two fresh, hot dinner rolls that were light, fluffy with just the right amount of chew. The entire meal with a 30%+ tip was just under $12. If they can do this with a soup and salad, imagine what they could do with an entire meal. Did I mention the service was great? Five Stars!Reviewed byHank Mcnally
Came here as a recommendation and was very disappointed. Everything that came out appeared to be like warm or held for a period of time. The pasta had that tacky glazed over crust and noodles were very over cooked, no texture. The pizza was honestly one of the worst I’ve ever ordered. The crust, though thin so you’d think cracker like, was it soggy and chewy. The sauce had no flavor, and the toppings were sparse. The house salad was good, and I liked the vinaigrette but everything else fell short.
My wife and I were looking for a place to eat and it was later in the evening. We came across this place and Italian sounded really appetizing. Our arrival was shortly before 10 and the kitchen closed at 10, but was open until 11. Location and decor fit the vibe of an Italian restaurant. The complimentary bread was warm and good. Our meals were very delicious and generous portions. Prices were extremely reasonable. My wife ordered the Salmon Soto and I ordered the Cavatappi with shrimp. We left satisfied and full. There was no room for dessert and we needed take home boxes.
When I walked in, I felt like I was going back in time. The photos and the ambiance suggest a past, in Lincoln, of grand dining out experiences for families of the 1950’s with a rich patina that persists today. I had the soup of day — tomato — and a pasta with chicken, artichokes, and peppers, in a very flavorful white sauce. Both were excellent. My only complaint — no espresso to finish the evening.
Went here for my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend. In the overview of this restaurant, it's listed as "upscale," "cozy," and "romantic." However, the time I had there really felt like none of those things, which I'm disappointed to have to say. We made reservations for friday night at 8, and even so we got sat in a small, two chair table, that could barely fit our plates and drinks. Directly next to our table was another table filled with about ten people. So our entire experience we got to struggle to hear ourselves talking to each other over the mass of other people talking. Our server was kind, but the food was not up to the expectations I had after reading other reviews. It was something that I just wouldn't recommend to someone else. It tasted mediocre. We got an appetizer, and two entrees and spent about 50 dollars, which we had expected to spend that much, but the food was definitely not worth the price. Sorry, but I just wasn't impressed.
Vincenzo's is a highly sought after reservation in Orlando. The restaurant has a lot of personality in the decor and is definitely high-end on service. The food follows suit, I had one of the best veal parms ever. Everyone in our party had a great culinary experience. The menu is pricey, but the payoff is there. You won't be disappointed.
Came in on Valentines Day to try something new, and was very impressed. We were sat in a timely manner, drinks were delicious, food was amazing, and our server Gabriel was great! So happy we could find GF and picky eater options. Glad to have a new place on our date night rotation.
We had a great time this evening. We were looking for something unique and local for dinner. Vincenzo's delivered big. We were seated right by the front windows, which allowed for some people watching during our conversation. Every employee we met was top notch. They all were masters of their craft and showed. I would tell others if they didn't try this they would be missing out. We had the Arancini appetizer, Baked Lombardi, Ravioli Platter, and the cheesecake dessert. Perfect dinner!
We haven't been here in quite a while and so decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary (Dec. 1) at Vincenzos. The food was delicious and service was outstanding. The house red wine is excellent. Another Lincoln favorite to try if you haven't been here before.
We have been going to Vincenzoes for our anniversary for the past 18 years and never had bad service and the food has always been excellent. Last night was no different. Emily was our waitress, she was very attentive and friendly she even took our picture for us. This was our 38th anniversary. The wine, apitizers, meal and dessert were perfect!
