Horrible,, Horrible and once again horrible. Waitress no teeth, manager kept going outside, I'm sure to smoke. Ordered coffee and waited and finally had to ask the managerPlace was filthy dirty. Was myself a friend and two older ladies. The food was terrible the eggs were snottyWould not recommend to my dog.
On Father's day, my mother & I ordered an entrée & 3 pancakes for the other 4 family members(my mother & I included), with the online option. When we arrived, the parking lot & diner was packed full of people. We got our food in 15 minutes, 5 minutes longer than the estimated time, & the food was delicious. If it stoped here, I would give this 5 stars, no questions asked, but there was a missing order of pancakes. It's already impressive that the online orders wereavailable on Father's Day, & that our food was done very close to the estimated time! However, I can't look over the fact that one full order of pancakes was charged, we didn't get the food we paid for, & the employee thought to themselves "Huh, this order was for a familty of five..":& thisninead
Bought a country apple pie, brought it over to my parents and it went over really well. I would have bought two pies but I showed up late in the day and they were out of mixed berry. Didn't catch the manager's name but he was a pretty cool cat, giving all these ladies a discount and chatting them up, just being really nice and friendly. He did tell me he's been working at VI since the eighties so that's got to tell you something positive about the place. I also got to add that every VI is different, but this location has never let us down.
Different Village Inn, same results. Asked for over-hard eggs and got the runniest eggs of my life. The rest of the food was fine, but it's extremely easy to make over hard eggs. Service was a little shotty, but fine enough.
My husband's eggs were covered in a weird mucus-like substance and incredibly thin. He was charged for orange juice he never received. Approximately 15 minutes after we were finished eating, I got sick to my stomach. When we first entered the restaurant, it reeked of sewer gas and we were seated close to the restroom and noticed the door was propped open. We should have just turned right around and left, but we were there for someone's birthday dinner and that's where they wanted to eat. Looking around, I noticed water damaged ceiling tiles, moldy ceiling tiles, wallpaper peeling off the walls, and dirty air vents. There was also a light fixtute making a weird noise as we walked up to the door. We will definitely not be returning. The best thing about the place was our waiter.
Got our food quickly and it was good. But then it seemed like our server got overwhelmed and forgot our drink refills and we couldn't flag her down for to-go boxes for about 15 minutes ... so that's sort of took it down a notch.
It was ok, stood up front for 5 minutes before getting helped, while a waiter stood there talking. Price was high for a couple of burgers. Manager was good.
Tasty food, affordable and quick service. Always like this restaurant. My only suggestion is not to rush the ticket.
Great experience and very good food! The manager visited our table just to see how our experience was and was genuine.
My family and have been going here more and more lately because we are tired of being disappointed at other places. It's true they have been short staffed for a while now but the folks they have are the best around. In the face of a difficult situation this place is actually getting BETTER!! Very friendly and attentive wait staff and the cooks obviously care about the food they serve because it is ALLWAYS fantastic. The managers are very friendly and accommodating if you need special assistance. I guarantee you will not be disappointed if you come here any time of day. Keep up the great work guys!!
