The staff at this village inn was competent and friendly, but had that attitude that overworked underpaid workers have all over this land of plenty, not to mention that somehow people have forgotten that servers make less than minimum wage, tips keep the kids fed. So thecthree star rating is for the owner of the restaurant, who frankly should be ashamed
The food is very good. And plenty of it......Our waitress was terrific. She was however working three jobs, waiting tables, seating people, and taking their money.. I felt rather bad for her, she was working like crazy. But she had a smile on her face and she was pleasant...... She was waiting all the tables perfectly, and was very attentive even though she was very busy.. this location has limited parking because of all the other establishments in the strip center. We found a spot but it took us a little bit.. That's not the fault of Village Inn, it's a popular spot. I did however feel the prices are a little higher than they used to be. However, I think that's the way with most things right now. With gas being $4.69 a gallon.... Everything is going up in price. But again the food was very good and I do recommend it.
Our family count just kept growing & growing. We ended up having about 20 people surprising the staff at the restaurant on Memorial Day for breakfast. Our sever Sylvia was absolutely fantastic! Cooks did great job getting our food out quickly, as the place was busy. Everyone was served well & happy with there meal. Kids even ate free because it was a Monday. Much kudos!
I ordered my eggs over medium, mostly just to test their cooks. That was the runniest egg I've ever seen in my life. Service was great though and the rest of the food was fine. That egg will stick with me though, it's not that hard to check to see if a yolk is runny.
After finished eating my breakfast I ran out to grab my $5 bill out of the car for a tip. I was like I have to get my breakfast container that I left anyways brb. She just threw the other half of my breakfast in the trash without even attempting to make sure I grabbed it, so I just kept her tip. Only took me 10seconds to run out to my car. The French toast had way too much butter anyway.
Our server was amazing! Very kind and helpful! The portions of food was just right! I got the breakfast burrito with carnitas and a little disappointed with the flavor! There really wasn't any! It was just pulled pork. But that was the only thing!! Everyone else loved their food!
That's experience I've had at Village Inn in over 10 years you have to stop in and see the waitress her name is Ashley and she had phenomenal People skills and with an excellent waitress I will be coming back Because of her service
I love to order the ultimate skillet. It comes with two sausages two bacon two eggs on hash browns with peppers and onions and then a side of pancakes and I like to have the strawberry syrup with mine! ?
We went for pie and coffee. I had Lemon Supreme. So good. Our waitress was really nice.
Eat there everyday. Food always good. Wish their were bagels or cinnamon rolls or oatmeal available. Waitresses always friendly and attentive.A senior menu would be nice because they always have plenty of food to fill you up. Smaller portions for seniors would be great.
