I really wish we'd have known about Toppers long ago. I'm not sure how long they've been there, but I hadn't had a good thick-crust pizza with good stretchy cheese on it since I went vegan about 15 years ago. Yia-Yias is great - don't get me wrong - but sometimes I really want nice bready crust with an unhealthy amount of vegan cheese on top! I randomly Googled for vegan pizza yesterday and low-and-behold, Toppers came up. I wasted no time in ordering a large with onion, garlic-roasted tomato, and vegan cheese, a side of vegan cheese sticks, and some vegan Ranch and garlic butter dipping sauces. It was ready very quickly, and the gentleman at the counter was cheerful and friendly. We also decided to get tater-tots and Beyond Chicken on the pizza, because... why not? It was very delicious and satisfying, and although it was a bit spendy (around $45 for the order), we got three meals out of it for the two of us, so that's really not bad. Looking forward to trying some of their other sauces and toppings. It's a little confusing to order, because some of the vegan items are marked as such in the online ordering, and others are not, and you have to have either looked them up on the "vegan options" list from the main page prior to going into the online ordering process, or have them open on a second tab and refer to that. That small quibble aside, I highly recommend Toppers for vegan pizza in Lincoln!
Went in to get afternoon lunch with family yesterday, ordered a triple topperstixs. Everything went great and we didn't have to wait long for our order. Glad to eat Toppers Pizza anytime. And, anyone who hasn't tried their pizza or topperstix should...
I want to start out by saying whenever I get pizza here it is always great! I’ve never been disappointed when it comes to the food quality, taste etc.. With that being said I recently placed and order online and in the app it gives you the option for curbside pickup, which I was skeptical at first as this location is downtown but I figured I’d give it a try. After securing a parking spot right outside the front door I replied to the text message I received letting the store know I had arrived. I also received a reply indicating that it went through and that they would be out shortly. I then proceeded to wait 15 minutes before I went into the store and boy am I glad I did. There was no appearance of an effort to bring the food out, and then after waiting 5 more minutes someone finally asked me what they could do for me. I was half tempted to just grab the pizza myself because I could see it sitting there. Maybe it was poor timing on my part but at 6:30 pm on a Saturday you’d think they would be better staffed. I will return at some point, just something to keep in mind.
I order from toppers occasionally and usually during the day. When I call, Rhonda always identifies herself. I appreciate that because I like knowing who I'm talking to. She is always polite and respectful. She suggests items that I don't think of and other items that I don't know about. I appreciate the help and effort that Rhonda gives. There aren't a lot of places that offer that kind of service and they have arguably the best pizza in town.
Could use some help on the late hours(even though there was 5 of them) I went in to pick up a to go online order and waited over 20min and still had to come up and ask if it was ready. They acted like it had been sitting there for awhile.. like it was my fault.. hopefully others had better experiences!
I ordered a large pepperoni pizza $22.99Single cinnamostix with cream cheese icing $10.59Mr.Pibb $2.491 Chipotle ranch dippin sauce $0.99I used DoorDash...I waited for an hour. The guy who dropped it off, literally, dropped it on the ground and ran away. He didnt have to wait for me either. I had already tipped him already when I paid for the pizza so no wonder. Well, I shouted to see where my Mr. Pibb was at and he said Topper's didn't give it to him. Then I took a look at the pizza and it was cold and the crust was hard like my head. Then I thought the cinnamonstixs for sure will be good.Nope! Cold and hard, like my heart. I complained, they felt bad and paid me back for the drink they never sent and a $5 for the items being cold and hard. I paid $45.10 without tip, they did a horrible job and all they can do is give me a $5.00 credit. Never again Topper's, never again.✌?My only regret? Not ordering Pizza Hut.
I only post reviews if it's worth the attention whether positive or negative. In this case, TOPPERS PIZZA. Possibly the worst pizza I've ever had. Delivered it at room temperature. Stale, no sauce, thin and the bread sticks I order are completely raw in the middle. This is what I would expect from a gas station at 1 a.m. HOW DO YOU GUYS SEND THIS OFF TO A CUSTOMER THINKING ITS ACCEPTABLE???? Unbelievable!!!
I order from toppers occasionally and I usually order during the day. Rhonda is always polite and very helpful with explaining the specials. She even suggests things that I don't think of and new items like the ice cream. Excellent service every time!!
Hello, I’m not huge on leaving poor reviews. I love toppers, one of my favorite pizza places to order from especially because I work late and it’s one of the only places left open by the time I’m off. So I order my food, I don’t have a car or else I would’ve picked up so I had to do delivery, and I ordered right before 1am. I called back at 215 because I thought an hour and 15 minutes was kinda steep for a delivery time especially that late on a weekday, and I wanted to make sure there was no mix up because there’s another hotel next to the one I stay at. Guy on the other end was nice, explained there was only one driver and I understood because I’ve worked delivery as the only driver too, so no biggie. But then around 230 I get a knock at my hotel door, it was the hotel front desk clerk, he said the driver (was a she) refused to bring the food up, and she didn’t even call me to let me know my food was in the lobby, so if it wasn’t for the kindness of the front desk clerk to take time out of his shift to walk up to my room for something I paid the delivery driver to do, I probably wouldn’t have even gotten my food. Which is a shame because once I found out she was the only driver I had a cash tip for her when she got here. I don’t mind waiting, don’t mind reheating my food because it was cold, but thought it was very unnecessary and unprofessional of her to refuse to do what she gets paid for, and have the audacity to not even let me know my food was in the lobby and in return making the front desk clerk walk to my room just to let me know all of this.
Over 45 minutes late cold and this is how it comes come on toppers gotta do better than this used to like u guys a lot this isn’t the first time I’ve had this happen might be the last time I order from you guys
