food is plentiful and delicious. management is awesome. they even let me bring in my dog on a triple-digit temperature day. I'd go back in a heartbeat
After being a faithful patron for almost 50 years it seems time to hang it up. Once our favorite Mexican place to eat, the menu and flavors have changed so much we don't recognize it, or much like it. the guacamole is still very good, it would have been better if the chips were not stale. So long old friend, we will miss you. very sad indeed.
Very unique menu items that make you want to try them all because you can't get them anywhere else. I love the rice bowl deal with all the toppings. The decor on the inside place was super nice too. The waitor was very understanding when I said I was in a time crunch and brought my food and ticket very promptly. I will definitely be coming back again.
Used to hostess here 20 yrs ago. Got addicted to the place.Beautiful atmosphere with good lighting, pretty reliable staff, definitely reliable food. Awesome bar in a tucked in separate room and large party room off the main dining area. I go alone every so often, order carry out and absolutely take my family out from time to time. Good accommodations.(Taco Delight-2 Taco option, Fiesta Corn side, Chips and Salsa-available at every table as usual-with a Pineapple Cosmo and Water. The Taco Delight isn't the most amazing meal on the menu but it is one of my favorites.)
Hadn't been to Tico's in quite a while and I have been missing out. The food and drinks were great! We had a friendly server who was more than efficient. Won't be away so long next time.
Love this place. Have come here for years. Food same quantity, flavor and presentation over the years. My favorite place for chili rellenos and fried ice cream!
Our carry out order was so screwed up we don't even know what food we got. We had a simple order of chips and salsa with a large relleno royale casserole. Not sure how you mess up 3 items. We didn't even get the same number of items ordered
This is not Mexican food, it is HIGHLY processed stuff. Your seafood tacos are cut up pre frozen fish sticks. You order grilled chicken and get these super thin machine cut squares with fake grill lines on it. They are cutting a lot of corners in ways like this on every dish we ordered. Server was nice. I have never been so disappointed, now I know why most of the photos here are the decor not the food.
Service was a little slow because of staff shortage. They let you know that at the door so as long as you're ok with it all is good. Food was pretty good. Haven't been here for years but would return.
