Only thing better than the food was the service! Food was delivered fast and hot. I would recommend the 4 sauce fry appetizer. That was great. We will be back soon.
We go here A LOT, especially when my parents are in town because they love it. Cold beer, quality bar food (and excellent portions) and lots of TVs. It’s a staple Lincoln restaurant for our casual, sports loving family.
We come in every week and haven't had a bad experience. The cook kills it everytime. The drinks are always good and the wait staff is the best service I've ever had here in lincoln.
Stopped here late afternoon on 4/9/2022 with a group of five. We were in Lincoln for the Husker Spring game. There was not a hostess so we sat ourselves . Ok Perfectly fine. Nobody told us that, but we figured it out ourselves and that’s not the main issue. However one of the employees that walked by, could have at least told us that. Main issue: When a table opened up we went and sat down. The server in the section walked by us several times but wouldn’t wait on us , or clear all the dishes from the table from the previous guests. She told us a few times that she would be right with us. So we waited. And waited. I went to the bar and ordered some drinks for the five of us and brought them over myself to our group. We looked over at the bar area and saw our server standing around doing nothing but chatting and laughing with other workers! She was having a good time socializing with fellow workers but wouldn’t clear the dirty dishes from our table (from previous guests) or take our order. Again, she had walked by our table several times and said she would be right with us. We talked with people around us and they were having the same experience and were very frustrated. Again, our server was standing at the bar area doing nothing but having a good time with other employees. We noticed other customers walking in and they sat down in other sections and got service right away. So the next time we saw a group of people getting ready to leave a table, we rushed over there and sat down. Finally we got a great server and we tipped her very well when we left. She was awesome. Would I go back? Probably not. I doubt anyone in our group would either, but I cannot speak for them. The first :45 minutes of our visit was terrible and that’s what you remember.
Horrible service! Never get what you order. The waitress can't figure out the bill correctly. I will NEVER return here! Sad part is that the owner is a nice guy who provides good service. Too bad they can't hire good help.

The Press Box is one of the best places to go for lunch or dinner on Sundays during football season. My boyfriend and I go most Sundays and there is a TV for each game. The food is always amazing and the waitresses are always super nice!
