The Mill is a locally owned coffee shop with several locations around Lincoln. The College View location is my personal favorite. I don't enjoy coffee (I know it's weird), but you can also get a selection of teas, steamers, scones and muffins (from local bakeries), as well as wraps and other grab-and-go fare. The Mill is the perfect anchor for the other small businesses on Prescott, and a great place for a rest after visiting the Sunday farmer's market. If it's crowded and the weather cooperates, I like to take my tea and muffin to go and enjoy them on the park-like campus of Union College just across 48th Street. About two blocks the other direction is a city park with picnic tables and a shelter which is also a great option for a relaxing afternoon.
I love The Mill! It's a favorite coffee shop in Lincoln. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The Mill is a great spot to study or grab coffee with a friend!
The Mill (near Union College) is my favorite coffee shop in Lincoln.Relaxed environment, and staff is always friendly.
Great selection of coffee and tea. Service is always very good and pricing is fair as far as coffees go. Some of the teas can get expensive but that's the nature of tea. Check it out!
Love the atmosphere at the Mill, every one of their locations, and they have delicious drinks and snacks! Their chai latte is one of my favorites. I've always received courteous and timely service, even when they've been very busy. This location is smaller than the other two I've been to, but has such a cozy vibe it's one of my favorite coffee shops in Lincoln.
Super good espresso and a nice spicy chai. It had really good flavor and was not extra sugary. Staff is super-rad and it's cool that they have some vegan options. <3
5 stars for simple college coffee nostalgia. It might have been 15 years but I love this place and the memories.
I love supporting small businesses and this is one of my main places to meet people when I come back to Lincoln. Each location has a quaint ambience inside And outdoor seating (which I love when the weather's nice). The prices are reasonable and the selection is good!Side note: If you haven't tried the Granita, you need to! Perfect on a hot day (warning- slightly sugary and addictive).
This was my first visit to The Union college store, although the old market shop was my favorite when I lived here. Great coffee, service and customers to chat with. If you’d like a unique place to meet others or hit the books ?, you will find it here.
Great tea selection, great place to study or work remotely. Courteous staff.I can’t endorse their coffee - I get drip or pour over, black (no sugar or cream). Coffee here typically tastes burnt and/or over roasted. Cultiva has better coffee, if you legit want good plain black coffee. Coffee drinks here are just fine.Sadly they were out of quiche today, got a burrito. Was the size of the sour cream packet that came with it. Was legit like maybe half a scrambled egg, mostly just a tortilla. I would need 3+ of these to be full and I eat small breakfasts. Felt robbed. Cannot recommend. #dobetter
