With little time to spare but still looking for a cultural experience in Lincoln, we headed to Runza for a quick bite. We attempted to try as many items as possible - all was delicious! Hearty, unique sandwiches; crispy fries; onion rings - mmmm! We look forward to our return visit :-D
Would always get Runza wheb in Lincoln it was a must but has become a big no, last 2 times it was horrible?
Ordered French onion burger 2 cheese rings and kids meal. $34 total received a burger with jalapeños on it I’m allergic to jalapeños and didn’t even receive my kids meal for my 2 year old.
Love Runza and a must stop for me when back in Nebraska.

Runza has great food, don't get me wrong. But the cooks have been slacking. When I want a cheese Runza, I expect a nice hot Runza with gooey cheese. But nope... Not lately. The last several times I order just a cheese Runza, I get a semi-warm breaded crunchy bread roll stuffed with meat and a cold slice of cheese. It's like they microwave the "Runza", cut it open and toss in a cold piece of cheese. What happened to the melted cheese? I prefer Runza from the 90's. The cooks today will never understand. Get your sht together Runza.

Today was not so good because my grandson and I waited for 10 minutes on two Ice cream ? while to people talking to each other at the window and the ice cream were already made sitting on the counter that was so frustrating that all that time not one thought to see who ordered it so I had to wait for them to make fresh cones. In the end we were offered a cookie. Today I can only give one ⭐
I loved these sandwiches growing up. Yuck!! So much pepper, I'm assuming used to cover the poor quality of beef. I always had one whenever I was in Nebraska but probably not again. So sad.
Switched Runza’s today. 70th and Van Dorn is awesome for customer service. Positive and friendly. Very attentive to our granddaughter’s meal wishes. The rings were perfect! Show this to the other restaurants around lincoln. This is the way rings need to be cooked. Fresh cooking oil totally makes it. Thanks for making wonderful memories.
