First time for me, my almost former co-worker & I had lunch. What a treat. We were greeted by friendly staff with chips and salsa. The menu is extensive and the food!! I am thrilled to learn about this place. Every bite is better than the one before. You get a generous serving of freshly prepared food at a reasonable price. I can hardly wait to go back again soon!
They are new owners at this location. Got some tacos, and the tortillas literally looked like they where reheated in the microwave all soggy and stuck together. I like the old owners that are officially at 11 st. I will make the trip there, better food. Will not be coming back here again. Everything is better at the Neveria on 11 st! You’ll thank me later.
The food is very good and pretty authentic! Also a good value for what your getting. The service was also very friendly and pretty fast!
Love the elotes in a cup! I had the shrimp quesadilla and it was perfect!
Great family owned authentic Mexican cafe with great food, great prices.
First time visiting this restaurant, horrible food! My husband and I ordered several different items, including pork and carne asada tacos, the meat was very old, hard and literally Crunchy. I thought maybe they out tortilla chips in the tacos, because they were that crunchy!!! My husband and I were very disappointed! We're new to Lincoln, and when we travel we always seek out Mexican food, which is our first love. We've never experienced anything like it, couldn't believe they would serve customers this type of food to anyone! I wouldn't serve it to my dog! Not sure if we caught them on a bad day, but they lost new customers! Sad!
Love their ice cream!! We go whoever we can! Good food as well!
Great HorchataGrab the Elote
My daughter and I had the five tacos and they were delicious! Definitely recommend this place for authentic Mexican restaurant.
I walked into this restaurant and I was immediately asked to put a mask on. I replied "I do not have one but we are six feet apart and there is NO ONE else in the restaurant." (I was literally standing next to the table I can sit at without a mask) She demanded I wear one because "it's a mandate" and I replied "it's not the law". Then she tried to make me buy a mask from her, all the while the other employee was standing there looking at me, while she prepped food, WITHOUT a mask on.Apparently they can afford to lose business over a piece of cotton.
