I love the food here. It has always been amazing. I never leave a review after one bad experience at a good restaurant, but today I have waited for over and hour for my takeout that should have been ready in 30 minutes max. They are having no problem getting orders out for Uber eats/door dash however. I get that places get busy and everywhere has been short staffed, but it’s been 1.5 hours and I still don’t have my food yet with no excuse as to why it is taking so long. Another guy has been waiting longer than me, and they accidentally gave his food to a delivery driver, then remade it incorrectly and basically blamed him for the issue. I don’t live in town, so coming here is usually a treat and I was hoping to pick it up on my way home and have a nice dinner, but I have been waiting here for longer than it takes me to get home. Very disappointed and don’t plan on returning any time soon.
Their crab rangoon was AMAZING. I will come back JUST for that. General Tso's chicken was really tasty, but the Mongolian Beef was sooooooo oily that neither of us could eat it. It had a good flavor, but there was a VISIBLE layer of oil on top of the liquidy dish, making it very unappetizing. The fried dumplings were decent sized, but the flavor I expected wasn't there.Overall, 3.5/5* for our first visit. We'll try them again, and we'll DEFINITELY get a double order of crab rangoon!!
They have THE WORST costumer service. The women who work the front counter are incredibly rude. Never had a bad experience with the guys but I never see them anymore. Good food but doesn’t make up for it.
Great service in restaurant and delivery
This place used to be a five star rating however they either have a new chef or their skimping on the meat because they're pork fried rice used to have thick long chunks now there are these small little pieces and barely any of them and considering your paying almost approximately $11 I expect an $11 pork fried rice. Also the sauce is not the way it used to be. it used to be way way better with a Japanese flair to it. Now they're using some other sauce and so not worth it so I will be looking elsewhere. Oh and by the way when I called they said there wasn't a new owner/chef and I asked her if that's the case or are they just skipping on the meat they only mentioned there wasn't a new owner so there you go and they didn't want to accommodate me in any way so bye-bye Mr Hui's.
The delivery guy didn't even ring the bell, just left the food outside, so we had no idea it was delivered until it had been outside for awhile, as some stuff was cold. I ordered the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce and it was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. It came in the same container they put soup in, and it looked EXACTLY like egg drop soup, all liquidy, and all the shrimp and veggies had sunk to the bottom. I ended up pouring it over the rice and it was like rice soup with NO FLAVOR. None. It was like shrimp in water. Totally disgusting and the shrimp was overdone. Last time i order from here.
Love them until I started to realize they don't really care and that they literally packed open food in boxes that leaked all over my brand new car that good thing I'm a detailer and got them removed properly or they would've ruined a 4 month old car with their complete lack of caring. Won't go there again.
I have been a customer of Mr. Hui’s for a few years now and the food has always been great and service was exceptional until my most recent experience today. The employee was very rude and would take off before I could even ask for anything. She had a lot of attitude and made it feel like an inconvenience for her to ask for an extra plate and chopsticks. Very disappointed.
Ordered online today with a pickup time of 11:15. Showed up at 11:14 and they said the orders aren't ready as they just opened. Ended up not getting the food until 11:30 - if they can't have the food ready when the online ordering says, then they need to change the times so that they can meet them. Additionally, the food was just so so - probably won't be going back to this location anytime soon
