Excited to eat here from reviews, but sorely disappointed . First, menu looked terrific and we had a tough decision as to what to eat. Their staff was good, but food was average and had issues. Salad tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Baked potatoes tasted microwaved and were undercooked. $40 …. 8oz fish filet w lemon sauce was okay, but GREASY and lemon sauce was heavy w/flour taste. Prime rib was adequate.

Misty’s, located on P street next to the Kindler hotel and under the Lincoln Ball Room, is a great environment with amazing staff and a notable variety of menu options which distinguish them from their less innovative competitors. They pay attention to quality and are one of the few steakhouses around where you can order seafood, chicken, pasta, etc. and know that it will be prepared with the same standards of quality and flavor as the steaks are (they make the best lobster mac and cheese I’ve ever tried). The bar atmosphere is friendly and welcoming with a “stop in for a beer” vibe. The dining areas in the back provide a more formal (yet still relaxed) dining experience, and strikes the perfect balance to accommodate both formal and casual meals in the same space. The staff are extremely friendly, very familiar with the menu, and look like they enjoy their work. Feel free to ask their opinions on food, beer, and wine, they know what they’re doing and won’t steer you wrong.Misty’s is an overall excellent (and surprisingly affordable) dining experience for any and every occasion and is a must-try for anyone who finds themself in Lincoln.

We had a reservation for Saturday night, but didn't really need it. It wasn't too busy. We were really happy with the service and the food. I'd highly recommend the scallops!

Great place with amazing food. I was recommended here for the prime rib, and my god does it deliver. The service is good, atmosphere is nice but the food is phenomenal. I started with the lobster bisque which had nice big tender chunks of lobster in it, and the sherry cream broth was packed full of flavor. I ordered the king cut prime rib surf n turf with scallops and asparagus. The prime rib was cooked PERFECTLY and was so juicy and tender. The au jus was a perfect complement to the beefy tender prime rib. I was more caught off guard with the scallops, they were large, fresh, seasoned beautifully and had the perfect sear on them. Did not expect such good seafood dishes in Nebraska. The asparagus had a nice blister from the grill and delicious as well. If you want good prime rib this is definitely the spot, but don’t sleep in their seafood dishes either. Delicious.

Misty's did not disappoint, we frequently ate here when living in the area and yes the food was just as good as we remembered. The prime rib was cooked and seasoned perfectly as well as my husband's ribeye and the scallops where fantastic. Great service as well.

Misty's is known for prime rib as their signature dish on the menu. We dinned early in the evening. The prime rib looked like it had been cut with a very dull knife. My "queen" cut that is suppose to be 16 oz was maybe 9 oz. The color of the meat was gray....sad experience.

We ate here on a Friday night before a Broadway Show at the Lied Center (Easy two block walk). A parking facility is one door north from Misty's. This longtime Lincoln favorite has a large amount of seating. Service and serve time were very good, much better than most restaraunts these days. Very good prime rib and well prepared steaks. Relatively reasonably priced. Misty's has been a Lincoln fixture for decades, you should check it out.

It's the best steak I have had in a while. Consider reservations as they live up to their reputation. The place was packed.

Had the blackened prime rib, very flavorful. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.

The wine and mashed potatoes were a treat. My blackened medium rare prime rib came out beyond well done, and with about 4x the amount of blackened seasoning one would expect. Was the worst prime rib I've ever had in my life. I'm shocked they would send it out of the kitchen at all...
