We ate here after my son’s college commencement ceremony. It was close to the stadium and accommodated our large group. The food was excellent, drinks great and service very satisfying. Thanks!
Wednesday $5 burger and fries are a good deal. Kind of pricey for brews and drinks.
This restaurant is located in the Cornhusker Marriott Hotel, you will need to enter the hotel in order to get to the restaurant.Service is what makes this a 5 star visit.The food was a mix depending on what you got.The beer samples are served in the cutest little boot shotglassBeer cheese soup 3.5 starIt was just very salty. No complexity of flavor here. I always order this when I see it and often I do find it like this. It feels like the norm for a lot of places, but I've had a few outstanding ones and this was not it.Caesar salad 4 starsVery standard Caesar, but I like them and there was nothing wrong with it.Onion rings 4.5 starsI feel like it's just today maybe, but the onions didn't seem fresh. Everything else about them were fantastic. Perfectly crispy, cooked to perfection, just marred by this particular onion.Blackened chicken quesadilla 5 starsEverything about this was great. Would order again. This happens to be my mans go to order.We ordered the soup and salad combo.The soup portion is huge (in a bowl) but the salad portion was very small (in a cup). I got a shot of the chili to go with it. The chili was solid 4 star item (I preferred it over the beer cheese soup).We had issues with the temperature of the soup. We did ask to have it reheated and it was warmer when returned but still not piping hot. If your expectations are for a bowl of piping hot soup, skip the beer cheese for sure as they were unable to do it. The chili we received in the shot (which would also cool faster due to size) was hotter than the beer cheese soup.Parking is downtown Lincoln parking. For $5.00 it seems wrong to say it’s not a good value, but I have one complaint. If you want a few pickle slices on your burger, you are charged and extra $.75. These are ordinary pickles, not fancy made in house. I would gladly trade them for the onion and cheese I have left off, but are included in the price.

I understand the current staffing issues in the service industry throughout the country, however, it’s still possible to provide hospitality. A hello and a glass of water go a long way.There was a 20 minute wait to be seated, which I assume was to help stagger the number of guests so that an understaffed team could try to keep up. The place had several open tables.After being seated, it was 25 minutes before we even had waters and our server acknowledged us. The manager and our server walked by our table multiple times without even thinking to get us waters or ask for a drink order to help buy them time.Our server arrived at the moment we were about to walk out.Food was mediocre and the cocktails were okay.
I've been there twice this past week. Excellent food and service. Shout out to Jill who is working all by herself on Monday. I heard no complaints and she was a true professional. She was tipped accordingly.
