Thought id be getting a 5 star meal but i paid 5 star prices for a 1 star meal. Very Disappointed. The ONLY good thing about the place was our server.. The Margaritas were IGHT!!! For the price ? Picked up the menu and it was covered in food. DISGUSTING. The table was sticky. Thank god, i said i hated corn tortillas cause dude brought me a flour tortilla!!! The tacos tasted like peanut butter. The chips was stale. Super gross. The super saver taco shells were stale. I couldnt even pick up the tostada. It was to mushy. EVERYTHING was Mushy!!!! Ill NEVER go back. The Chili Relleno was EMPTY.. WTH????? ?? Yea. And the meat.. Ewwww!!! Very very very disappointed.. WORSE MEXICAN FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD!! And can we talk about the HEAT? I know the inflation is outrageous.. But dang.. It was 94 outside and 115 inside. Insane. Worse experience ive had in a long time.
So disappointing. It used to be my favorite. Food completely tasteless. Service was great, and mushroom pico. Super good. Maybe the cook was on break?

Absolutely love this place, their options are endless! Such food vegetarian options and we love both their queso and salsas! The deluxe burrito is where it's at
First visit 'post pandemic'. We stopped to eat here, probably our favorite Mexican restaurant. I am hating that I am writing this review, So many changes to places after things have opened up again. Some are the same, actually went to a place that was better, BUT so many have regressed. This place has regressed. It bothers me how many businesses have used this as a chance to dramatically increase prices or reduce portions and worst of all down-graded their food. The Mazatlan has done all 3. We immediately noticed the increase in prices as we looked at the menu. BUT when the food came the plates were the same, but the portions were maybe at 60% of what they had been. We both noticed that and mentioned it to the other. We started eating and as we were about halfway finished I asked her what she thought. "They've changed the food." I agreed, what had been generous portions and much above average food was now more expensive about 60% portions and the food was average at best. Am writing this honestly for 2 reasons to make other customers aware of what has happened, and just maybe make the restaurant itself aware that it has been noticed and made posted. For us though, as we drove home we decided that the next time we are in Lincoln and wanting to eat out, we would explore other options, even if it was Mexican food.
Website said they were open till 10:00 p.m. when I arrived at 8:45 I was told they closed at 9:00. I was refused service. I went to my car and called the person I was waiting to meet there to see where else we could go for dinner. A car pulled up next to me went inside and was seated. My friend called to see if they really did close at 9:00 in which they said yes we just seated our last table. The server who wouldn't seat me is rude and he always has been when I've dined there. Mi Mexico Lindo it is!!!
Went to Mazatlan with a group of friends. My boyfriend ordered a giant la original margarita and I ordered a regular sized one. Prices were not listed on the menu so we assumed the drinks would be around $8 & $12 which seems in line with similar restaurants in town. When we got the bill they were $11.95 & $19.99. The margaritas were not made with top shelf stuff. This was absolutely ridiculous. This restaurant will lose business.
By far my favorite Mexican restaurant. We go a lot. Always seated right away. Great food and drinks. Great service. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Would rate with more stars if I could!!
Great atmosphere and drinks
The restaurant was clean and the services was good. We've eaten here several times hoping for a better outcome. However, the chicken was very tough and very salty. The pinto beans were also very salty and detracted from the taste of the food. If you have conditions requiring you to limit salt intake, this is not the place for you.
