Very last minute decision to come here and I would NOT recommend it for a quick meal.No one came to take our order for a good 10 minutes until we actually called someone.The food didn't take too long so that was okay.Portion sizes on both items we ordered was very small.I got the Southwest Salad with shrimp instead of chicken.Salad was quite small and that was barely any shrimp on there. I had to ask for extra greens (actually walked up to the host because no one came to check on us or any table in our area).It came with a honey lime dressing and Southwest peanut sauce and those both were really good. The combination of both was perfect.My fiance got the Smoking Gun Burger (with the peanut sauce and onion rings and bacon), and not going to lie... That burger was quite small.We eat out a lot and have tried burgers at a lot of restaurants, and this definitely does not compare.Onion rings will also very oily.I was really expecting experience, but this was not it.Food was good in some sense but not up to the mark and serving size or service.
Sat at the bar and it was amazing!!! Bar tender Charlie was fantastic!! Had a 13 beer, beer tasting… $9.50!!! Whaat?!? Dinner was great, salad and a lavish. Seriously everything was sooo good!! Can’t say enough about Charlie! If you’re in Lincoln, NE this is a MUST!!
Beat the rush, bit of a wait but it was worth it. Salmon was perfect, kids meals were solid, burgers were perfect. Definitely forgot a good picture before civ inhaled it! I've cream across the street is a must!
Overrated food and overpriced. The beer was the highlight. Not sure how this place is ratrd as high as it is, the food is average at best. Skip it and go up the street to Leadbelly instead
Awesome atmosphere, great location, also have a patio. Inside of the restaurant is warm and welcoming. Service was speedy and efficient. The food was delicious. I had the salmon, and it was one of the better cuts of salmon I have eaten in a long time. Was hesitant to get fish in landlocked Nebraska, but lazlo’s cooked my salmon filet to perfection. The hickory smoke grill adds so much flavor and the filet was cooked to a perfect, tender, juicy medium! It was falling apart and melting in my mouth, highly recommend!
Went to an early dinner with friends. When we started the restaurant was quiet. By the time we left, there was a buzz in the restaurant. I had a chicken sandwich, the others had ribs.
Have eaten at Lazlo's a few times since moving to Lincoln and have enjoyed the food each time. Also had good service.
Excellent restaurant and I don’t always say that. We are out-of-staters and my expectations were highly exceeded by Lazlo’s. Picked this place by happenstance and it definitely did not disappoint. Everything was great from the beer to the starter salad to the main dish to the service to the ambiance. Great downtown vibes. Thank you for a great date night!
Just passing through town and got Lazlo’s for takeout on a whim. Glad I did! Food was great and staff were so nice even with them being crazy busy! I feel like it would be awesome for dine in too.
Service and staff is truly awesome and dedicated to having a great restaurant experience. Food was delicious, short to wait on, our server was great, and Spencer is a great manager!
