It took 45 minutes to get my meal. When I came in there were 6 tables occupied and 3 servers.I waited 20 minutes before my order was taken. I had to stop the server to tell them I needed my check. It took another 15 minutes to get my check. I instantly handed them my card with the check, they set my card back down on the table and said they would be back. After another 15 minutes I got up and went to the counter, they said they forgot.Never coming back.
It shouldn't take 45 minutes to get pancakes and eggs in an empty restaurant. Plus, waiter wears too strong of cologne
We came here around 9:15am on a Tuesday morning. The food was good. The waitress was ok, she ignored us, mostly - probably because we were a group of 5.The Hostess (or other waitress) sat us at a table and said our waitress would be with us. ("They have a Please Wait To Be Seated sign posted"). The waitress came over, said she could take our order now or it would be a minute before she got back over to us, so we gave her our order, she came back with our drinks, than she delivered our breakfast, 2 at a time and (( than said she was hungry and trying to figure out what to eat.))After eating what could, we couldn't get her attention, so we asked another waitress for a couple of to-go container's.Our waitress was sitting at the counter eating and having a conversation with the cook through the serving window, who was in the kitchen and 2 other staff members standing in a area at the end of the counter ((which looked like a huge closet without a door and computer on a separate counter)) about something. She got up from the counter ((after the other waitress helped us)) and came over asked if we needed anything, not really meaning it ((you could tell)) and than quickly slapped our ticket on the table.Maybe it was an off day for her, or maybe that's the new normal for good customer service, but none the less we tipped her $20 and paid our ticket of $67.But we won't be back to that location (66th & Ost).Not impressed
Never once checked on us , food was cold , never gave us refills or asked if we wanted water . Was waiting for about an hour & 25 minutes before that just to get our order taken . Saw staff changing shoes by the area where they put the food out . McDonald’s would have had better service
Disappointed with the hash browns. Too hard for my taste. Eggs, bacon, and toast were fine.No bargain price for 55+ seniors. Times being what they are, Village Inn, prices were about the same.
Jermaine! Hands down the best server I have ever had at a breakfast joint. We were waiting to be seated, no one in sight. He walked in to start his shift, literally walked in the door, and sat us down and took our drink order. He had so much energy and was quick to get us what we wanted. He took care of all of his customers the same way, with a smile and fun energy. Jermaine made my day thank you!!!
If I could put a zero I would. They took an hour and a half to make and give us out food. The waiter attended four other tables that entered after us and gave them their food before ours and never noticed that we never got our food. She passed by multiple times and never noticed. When I asked her why we haven’t gotten out food, she began to laugh and just said sorry. Terrible service. If I never asked about the food we would have probably waited for even longer. Food was good, service was slow (asked for coffee and water...got coffee but never water). Servers were eating their food at front counter which was disgusting. We almost walked out when one of the servers sneezed into her hand and never washed or sanitized her hands. Thank God she wasn't waiting on us! Doubt I will be visiting there again.
Went to this restaurant on Sunday 3/27/22. Took about 30 minutes to receive our food. I asked for shredded cheese on my hasbrowns never got it. My mom asked for toast instead of pancakes and received pancakes. Both of our meals were cold. What happened to to Ihop offering different flavors of syrup?? What happened to having jelly on the tables? Needless to say will not be returning to this location again and don't forsee my self going back to any Ihop in the near future.
After waiting 30 minutes our server came over to tell us they never put our order in. Didn’t offer us anything or apologize they told us pretty much to leave or wait even longer. Needless to say never going again.
