Great place to eat breakfast and prices are good.
Food was great but the woman taking our order and serving our food was horrible. I work in customer service as well and no matter how bad my day is I leave it at the door when I arrive to work.
Been In Lincoln all my life and had never gone. Granddaughter visiting from Dallas so we tried it out for breakfast. Good food, decent prices, very friendly/ hard working staff. I will be back!

The Hi-way Diner is a staple of Lincoln. Simple feel good food. It doesn't do a lot of things, but what it does do...it does well. This is the place to go for breakfast, as it is right off the griddle...hot and delicious! The coffee is simple, but always good. Highly recommended.
They have a great staff but our food was less than desirable. The chicken fried steak was burnt like and the scrambled eggs had zero taste. The omlett was ok
This was Easter morning 2022. This was the very first time I have ever dined at Hi-Way Diner, and I am a HAPPY Camper!! I ordered #6, "The Haystack". Man, the eggs were cooked EXACTLY "over-easy"!! PERFECTLY!!The breakfast was, all in all, DELICIOUS, and a very pleasant experience for me. I fully intend on dining there again!!Ray

You live in Lincoln, Nebraska or just passing through make a point to visit the Highway Diner. It doesn’t matter what time of the day it is when you get a craving for the Highway Diner because they are open 24 hours!The food is delicious with lovely presentation and hearty serving sizes! It is very obvious by the great tasting fountain drinks that they are meticulous about throughly cleaning the fountain machine daily! They have a huge breakfast , lunch, and dinner menu and breakfast is served all day long! They also make a great cup of coffee and I would recommend pairing that with a slice of pie for dessert! The staff are neat fast and friendly! Enjoy the atmosphere decorated with antique vintage signs and items that make you feel as if you were blasted into the past!
