I love my new neighborhood and Cultiva is my go-to weekend coffee shop. It's pretty busy so be prepared to sit and visit and relax on a weekend morning. The staff is friendly and helpful and so much fun! I had the crepes on my first visit and then tried the yogurt breakfast item. Both were fresh and perfectly made. Great neighborhood treasure.
Food was great, but service was lacking.I ate a savory crepe and drank a chocolate tea, both were fantastic. As for the service, while the staff was quite delightful, this is a lunch area, and timing of service should reflect that. Sitting an hour waiting for a crepe is less than ideal.
Drip coffee is $5.35 which seems absolutely insane. Even with the free refill—other places charge a quarter for a refill. I just can’t get over that price for something so basic. The staff is really nice, if any reviewer doesn’t like the service they have issues.
If you’re looking for college funk the atmosphere is other worldly - great spot to hang for coffee - we split the veggie omelet - it was enormous! Way too much - the fries were out of a bag and cold☹️ Cool place but really can’t recommend
My omelet was crazy awsome. Large portions. Awsome prices !!!!
I can not stress this enough hygiene is very important and these people lack it very much. Especially the cooks their hair is hanging freely over the food getting hair in everything. Then you got employees running there fingers through their newly died hair (example: lady with brand new pink hair) then touching food not changing gloves. Not sure if this is acceptable but I will never go here again and will warn everyone I know not to go because of hygiene/ cross contamination issues in this store.
Best coffee in Lincoln. The breakfast is a family favorite as well. Thank you for starting this business. It is a real Lincoln gem!
Delicious coffee! Staff is hardworking, friendly and cheerful! Gave them 4 stars for the wait, but I didn’t mind.
The food is decent but the wait is unbelievable (I spent an hour waiting for one entree!). Also, the actual coffee (not diluted with milk and sugar) is the worst coffee I’ve had in Lincoln. Lastly, the environment is awful, there’s no ventilation, all my clothes smelled so strongly of burnt food all day. The location by east campus is much nicer (less crowded, cleaner, has natural light, smells less), coffee still bad though. Try the Foundry instead, one of the best places to get coffee.
If local joints want to survive this economy, they ought to make sure the online ordering system they direct you to when you call to place a pickup is something they actually pay attention to. Otherwise, you’ll show up at your scheduled pickup time to an employee who’s just now putting down their phone long enough to realize they have an order to fill.We waited out in the car until our pickup time and waited an additional fifteen minutes for them to prepare it. No line, just a pure waste of time and lack of caring about your customers at a time like this.I’ve been coming to Cultiva for years and have dealt with varying degrees of aloof customer service because the food and drinks are worth it. Today was next level. Cmon you guys!!
