It was my first time trying and the chicken is absolutely delicious I had the deluxe Cocky’s Sandwich. I will definitely go back and highly recommend
I'm giving this place 5 stars because it had the best catfish I've had in Lincoln so far. The Irish whiskey was a nice touch too. The white beans were yummy and the coleslaw was better than average. I walked in expecting a drive in with chicken, and walked out happier than I've been with the catfish dinner I wasn't expecting. Under 20 dollars for that and a double shot of Jameson. Spectacular!
This was are first time back in a few months, previously food was outstanding and worth the drive across town. This time we encountered disinterested staff and food that was average at best. Chicken tenders were definitely smaller than our last visit a few months ago. We loved this place when it first opened but sadly it seems to have fallen in quality since then.

At first, this place was amazing! Price points, food was delicious, and speed of service was awesome. Unfortunately, the last three times we've eaten there, it hasn't been great. First, the prices skyrocketed. (2) 3-piece chicken finger meals cost nearly $24 dollars now. Not only did prices go up substantially, but now you don't get biscuits with the meal and now the drink is as big as a kids meal cup. Understandably so, the way the world is at this point in time, prices are going up. I get it. But, to increase price and reduce quantity and quality is a bad recipe for business.
Not horrible but will not be back. The chicken tenders were dry. I ordered the cheddar biscuits with the meal. They didn’t have any. They substituted dry Texas toast (no butter). The fries were good. The Cocky’s sauce was great. The slaw was bland tasting. On another note, there was no soap on the restroom.
This place was great and reasonably priced for the amount you get. I got the spicy chicken sandwich with cucumber salad and the Mexican corncob. It was delicious!!! We also got the catfish with potato salad and Mac and cheese which was also very good!! The catfish melts in your mouth! I love their signature Cockys sauce it's so yummy. Definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. Kylie took our order. She was so patient, very knowledgeable of the menu and so friendly. Give this girl a raise!!! We will be back. Thanks for the great food and service! You all rock!
After my first visit months ago, I would have given Cocky's a 3/5, however, since giving them a second chance they have turned that around completely and made me a returning customer! The chicken is seasoned well, comes in very large portions, and has a great variety of sides, not to mention booze if you're craving a drink with your meal. Give them a try!
The sauce added good flavor to my spicy chicken sandwich, however the chicken patty was overcooked and cheese did not melt Onion petals are more batter than onion and you can taste the oil in them. I was very disappointed on this visit. Restaurant was clean, friendly, courteous staff. We may give it another try but it'll be awhile.
The Chicken here is no joke, less breading and more chicken. Everything that we have tried here has been delicious, this could easily be our weekly go-to spot for lunch or dinner. Prices are reasonable and we haven't tried the drive-thru, but the dine-in is always clean and staff is nice.
