It was a Saturday evening and the temperature outside was in the 80âs. We found a shady table outside. Our waiter suggested appetizer with the green sauce and he was right, it was delicious. The Pad Thai and a green side salad were also good. I hope to go back and try other items on the menu.
Service was extremely slow even though the place was mostly empty. The food took forever to arrive and was a huge disappointment. The sauces were watery, and key advertised ingredients were missing in all of the dishes. This used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but not any more.
At some point you’d think they’d fix their staffing issues. The food is great, dessert is better, but the fact you never know if you are going to need to block out an extra hour or so to wait for someone to take your order then eventually mosey over with your food really drops the number of stars for Blue Orchid. The young coconut cake is legendary but that doesn’t matter if you have to wait 2 hours to see the dessert menu.
Excellent place for a romantic dinner. My wife and I highly recommend it.

We love the food at Blue Orchid, but the service was lacking tonight. Slow and forgot our appetizer and then left it on the bill. Food was delicious!

Blue Orchid was excellent and accommodating - originally thought patio, but breeze was a bit much, so no problem to switch to inside dining. Great drinks and food! Definitely returning.
