So I understand why I had to wait so long as your location is a busy spot. I came for a bagel and as I was sitting there eating I realized you have people eating at the counter above where food is prepared. Not sanitary at all!!! I will not be returning to this location again. I saw two tables that were perfect to sit in front of the counter to alleviate the sanitary issues. I suggest you relocate the waterfall tables to be horizontal to the bar above the food prep area. If someone can transfer covid 6 ft away what do you think this current situation could cause? Simple food handlers should teach you safe food handling all preparation tables should have a sneeze guard! I am only giving them 2 stars for the politeness of the employees! And why don't you have ham? And an everything bagel is not the same without ham!! Just a personal opinion there though lol.
Good food, but incredibly slow. Definitely not a place to go unless you have half an hour to wait for a coffee and bagel. Multiple times my ticket has been lost or forgotten, and even when there was no line I still spent 20 minutes waiting for a coffee and sandwich while the employees argued amongst themselves :(
Delicious bagel sandwich and coffee. It was incredibly busy the day we went due to college sportsball game. However, the service was so much slower than you would expect regardless. The food and coffee are really tasty, though, so I recommend going when there's no college events and trying it. The idea of a mocha smoothie sounded weird to me, but it was so good. Highly recommend for the food, but not so much for speed of service.
Good coffee, good bagels, terrible service. Ordered online and showed up at the specified time, waited a few minutes in line because they were a bit busy but finally asked for my order and they informed me they hadn’t started. Fine, I can wait 15 minutes no big deal. 10 minutes later they informed me they didn’t have the bagels I’d ordered. Okay fine I’ll pick a different bagel. 30 minutes later I finally got my food and drinks. Not worth a 45 minute ordeal
Great coffee to wash down a good ole' bagel and cream cheese. The environment seems like it's improved alot since I started coming here last year. The teamwork and positivity of the people I usually see behind the counter makes my day brighter. I've never observed an "upper management" person being discriminatory or treating anyone with lack of respect, so hopefully all of these people that have "heard" about such problematic management will give the place another shot since things seem to taken a turn for the better.
Incredibly slow service. There were 5 people working behind the counter and they were all being directed to work on closing duties at 12:30 in the afternoon. Not very busy yet it took 15 minutes to get a bagel. They need to remember that customers can hear them in the back so they may want to watch what they say. A manager or supervisor was obviously there but not paying attention to any customers.
I just loved going to Bagels & Joe. The employees were very kind. They were even nice to each other. That's rare for me to see because everywhere I go employees are fighting but they weren't. They were amazing and helpful. Everything tasted great. I can't wait to go again.
Moldy gluten free bread in my order, wasn't refunded. Additionally got another item in my order incorrect but I was in a rush so I didn't have time to ask for a replacement. The wait wasn't too long but the employees were rude and neglected the customers for several minutes. I used to come to this location pretty frequently, but there have been a lot of staff changes and the atmosphere just isn't the same.
Ordered a Sumatra, the only non-flavored coffee they had brewed. Filled my 16 oz Contigo about 5 ounces before they ran out, and said it would be 5 minutes to brew another batch. I didn't have time to wait, so I said just give me my cup back. She charged me 2.44 for 5 ounces of the end of the batch drip coffee. The best part is the coffee was flavored with hazelnut or something, was disgusting and i ended up tossing it. I won't be back.
I love bagels and joe! They make sure to get everything to you as fast as possible. They’re cinnamon rolls are to die for. Great place to come grab a bite to eat and a drink if you’re studying or hanging with friends.
