I’m gonna give them 3 stars just for the flavor. I ordered from here today thru grubhub, I got the lamb curry and the chicken tikka masala. I was surprised by the portions of food I got, just couple pieces of bite sizes of the chicken and the lamb. For such pricey food and such small portions is just ridiculous! The flavors of the food was pretty good but come one please do not sell people bite sizes of food!
After reading several reviews that said they were too pricy for such small servings, my husband and I were pleasantly surprised! The portions were more than enough! We even had left overs. Also, we didn't realize that they were just open for pickup but the owner allowed us to dine in. We had the place to ourselves so had a delicious, quiet date night! Definitely worth the $!!
Very less portion sizes, not authentic Indian food. Try Sultan Kite's lentil soup and rice for $5. That's worth it.
I'll save you some time: don't order here. Looking past the small portions, the food just isn't good.We ordered the spinach paneer, chicken vindaloo, garlic Naan, and kashmiri Naan. The chicken vindaloo had a grand total of 8 pieces of bite sized chicken. I've never seen such stinginess, especially for the steep price. I'd overlook it if it was actually good, but the sauce tastes like spicy marinara. Spicy as in hot, not as in seasoned well. The garlic Naan smelled like garlic and tasted like nothing. It was weird. Kashmiri Naan was simply okay, but not special.Spinach paneer was good, but I wouldn't say it's the best I've ever had.For nearly 50 bucks worth of food for two people we didn't really have leftovers. Not that we wanted any...In short, order from literally anywhere else. Or shoot, get a frozen meal.
Hands down the best Indian food you are going to get in Lincoln! I have tried every other place in Lincoln and for the price and quality Aroma nails it!Aroma please do not close! Best food and best price I’ve had in town. Turn the outside lights way up and let people know you are the best in town!!!
The food itself is excellent, wonderful spices and flavors. But the portions are SO small, $37 for 2 things they make fit in a beer sleeve size paper bag. Just not worth it in comparison to Tandoor, The Oven, even Sultan's Kite. Sorry but it's just not worth it.
Where do i start? Well i tipped 25% when i paid o line for my order and literally sat next to the door awaiting my food and after an hour i got a little annoyed..i waited 15 more mins and checked my porch and low and behold my food is sitting there freezing cold!! Delivery person didnt knock or make a sound! Ok! Second i got three little pieces of chicken in a 16$ entree!!! ? like really?? I spent $50 for cold food that didnt even get me full :( THANKS
I ordered the chicken tikka madras to go and it was absolutely delicious! 100% worth the price in my opinion. It was two meals for me and well worth it!!
I want to love this place, but the PORTIONS and PRICES do not align whatsoever. Residents of and visitors to Lincoln are much better off at the Oven, another local Indian restaurant with comparable pricing. The food is very tasty, but the portions are HALF of what any reasonable restaurant would prepare for the price. If you decide to eat here, be sure to order twice as much... and yes, you're looking at about $30-$40 per person.TL/DR: Too expensive, "French" style portions. Go elsewhere.
Always been very happy with their food. Sometimes might need a hit of salt or acid but thats pretty typical. Always received great service when doing carry out as well.
