So bummed about our experience. We had heard so many good things about Taste of Louisiana, and I love Cajun food, so I was excited to try it. We ordered our food through the website and it said the food would be ready in 20 minutes. We timed it so we arrived at right about the 20 minute mark. When I walked in, the owner said he was about to call us because he had a couple questions about the order and they were out of a couple things. We got everything ironed out and he said he was going to get it started. None of our order was even started yet. I waited there in the lobby for another 25 minutes for my order, with my wife and 3-year-old waiting out in the truck. When I got my food, I felt like I put him out; he didn't even apologize for the wait. The po' boy I had was good but the potato salad had clearly been sitting for quite a while. Very disappointed.

We stood at the counter for about 3 minutes before the two women in the back even said a word to us. When they brought us our food both plates were wrong. First they were out of potato salad and instead of letting us know they just substituted sweet potatoes. My wife liked them so she let that go. I ordered the gumbo and they brought me the Alfredo. I asked if this was the gumbo and the lady that brought us our food assured me it was correct. I just ate it anyway and will never come back. The sauce on the pasta was separated so bad it was just grease. This is the second time we have been there and had crappy service or no service at all. I will never come back to this place.

just had the best potato salad ever!!! we also had the po boys and they amazing

Amazing as always! Seriously the best catfish, mac and cheese and potato salad I have ever had!!!

It was delicious! The owner is friendly and actually from Louisiana so when they say "a taste of Louisiana", they mean it! I had the jambalaya and 7-cheese macaroni and cheese. Both were amazing and so was the cornbread that came with it. The food was filling, satisfying, and oh so good. They even have wings if your husband or significant other is picky. ? I would definitely recommend trying them out if you like cajun or just want something different.

Best Gumbo I’ve ever had! Spent 1/4 of my life in and around Louisiana.

Absolutely amazing food! The Cajun fried chicken was very tender, the red beans and rice amazing, the mac & cheese equally amazing, the cornbread amazing, all of it! Also tried the shrimp cornbread. It was good but I prefer the buttery honey regular. Portions are huge and the owner is not only friendly but gives back to the community. Highly recommend!!

The food was great, we will definitely be back again.

Amazing food. I'm from Houston and I use to visit Louisiana often. This food is Authentic and reminded me of home. The crawfish are huge and preferably cooked. But the mac and cheese is something dreams are made of... ?... also the owner is super nice, the food is a vibe. I would definitely recommend A Taste Of Louisiana to anyone in Lincoln or Omaha area it's a must try.

No frills cajun food. The Mac and cheese and corn bread were both really good (especially the corn bread). The jambalaya was not very good in my opinion but that being said, I haven't had too many jambalayas in my life. The portion was big for sure but the price wasn't small. $15 before tax/tip for what's in the picture seems a little much to me especially considering the location and lack of service.Overall, a fine place. Personally, I won't be back with all the other good food in Lincoln to eat.
