Best calzones I ever ate. (Thunder zone) and the best blueberry beer!! The bar tender was very nice too.

I stopped here yesterday for a brew and dinner. We’ve been coming here every few years as we travel. I’m happy to report that although the staff has changed over the years they’ve all been really nice and fun to talk to. Good job Thunderhead. Bonus, they’ve added some excellent brews too! I had a pint of their Frost Warning IPA. It was tasty. I also tasted their Chinook IPA. Also very good too. For dinner I had the Pepperoni Calzone. It was very good. I ended up getting 3 Frost Warnings, 3 Chinooks and 6 Thunder Punches to go. Try this place. You won’t be disappointed.

A great experience at Thunderhead! The pizza and pretzel bites were amazing. The drinks were great as well. I tried the punch and then the beer. All in all, a quality time.

First time at the brewery in Kearney. The Cornstalker Wheat has always been one of my all time favorites and I will order this wherever I go. (unfortunately, it's not available everywhere) My wife tried a flight and the Lavender was a surprise hit. Aroma was, of course, lavender, but the taste was perfect. A nice finish for sure. Our waitresses were wonderful...so friendly and helpful. The food menu looked great, but we had reservations elsewhere. This is worthy of a road trip and overnight stay, in our opinion. Great job Thunderhead, and Kearney!

Pretty solid Brewery stop, especially for Nebraska. The staff was friendly and on top of things. Pizza was okay and probably tasted better because of the amount of time we were on the road that day. Otherwise it was underwhelming. Overall a decent stop, and a better stop if you are just looking for beer.

Great food. I'm not old enough to drink, but they do have other options. I ended up taking a jug of cream soda home with me. It's excellent.

Fast friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere. At least 18 craft beers on tap and a wide selection of delicious brick-oven pizza. The hulahula and the spring lager were our favorites.

Amazing! We were in town for the cranes and ended up at this local gem. Super wide variety of beer selection (lavender beer!), extremely friendly staff, cheap prices, and great food. Will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

The pizza, cheese bread and beer are 5 stars. Some of the other items on the menu are not nearly as good. Basically, if you order something high in carbs it will be excellent. Salads, potatoes and those sorts of things are average at best. Giving 5 stars because for the things I order they are excellent.

Great beer and great pizza!Service was about average though. The bartender missed my order of pizza, but it was very understandable as the place was absolutely buzzing! If you're in the area would recommend if you want local brew or pizza.
