If I could give zero stars I would. After being sat at a table that was sticky and disgusting. We requested they wipe our table. I was told they would be right back. Another 10 minutes went by and our waiter came, we said we'd like to wait for our table to be cleaned first. He nonchalantly said "okay" and took the order from the next table. Another 10 minutes went by and we're still sitting at a sticky table and 2 employees have ignored it. I finally decide to go get the manager. This wait is enough to make me change my mind. She comes out as my child and I are leaving. I tell her we are leaving. Give her the story. Remind her I understand the sticky carpet. Carpet can't be changed annually. But a sticky table is enough for me to leave. Gross.
Called in an order for a near wheelbarrow load of chips, salsa, guac and queso and it was ready in 15 minutes with a smile, helpful staff member and pretty reasonable check. Also had an app order at the same time as the phone call and it, too, was ready and waiting for me. Everything was perfect, tasted great and the afternoon chips and salsa treat for my team was a smashing success. Well done, Carlos team!
Clean, quiet local Mexican restaurant. The menu is extensive with many plates offering choice of 2 sides. The portion was perfect size...not too much food but not too little either. The house salsa is a bit watery and the chips paper thin. 4 beers on tap...one light and dark Mexican and 2 American domestic. 5 dollar house margarita specials at HH. The bar is rectangular and comfortable. Service was good. I recommend for a nite by yourself or the fam as the prices are reasonable won't impact your wallet too much.
We were so excited to go since ours that was close closed. Sadness...BUT we love the place and it didn't disappoint! Our server was amazing! It was later in the day and he was the only one on the floor and rocked it! So full of positive energy and with a smile! The food was delicious! The only thing I have is the bathrooms need a little work. The counter top is kind of warped. We had a great experience! We will be back when we head that way again!
We had not been here in years. Food and margaritas were delicious! We could have dined on just chips, salsa and queso. Our server was very personable.
Food was great service was kinda slow waiter walked by several times stopped a couple to refill drinks otherwise didn't stopped to check on us there was a table next to us he frequented. But never asked us if there was anything else after giving us the bill he didn't even come back for the receipt. Not the best first impression of a restaurant.
Carlos O’Kelly’s has great food, But there service is hit or miss. Today we had to wait 20+ minutes when all of their tables were open. The prices are reasonable for how much food you can get.
Was not impressed with this restaurant at all. Ordered the FAJITA STEAK BURRITO come to find out they are out steak. I figure ok I will try another option. I decided to try the street tacos. The beans appeared as if the had been sitting under the heat lamp for hours.. The rice had a weird taste to them so no one ate them.. The three street tacos were so small we thought it was a kids meal or someone was playing a joke on us. The meat inside them were extremely dry. MY meal was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! We also ordered a chicken FAJITA CHICKEN QUESADILLAS also dry, ENCHILADA DE MONTERREY my mother-in-law had two bites then picked it apart to find out why it tasted so weird. My father-in-law had the FAJITA CHICKEN BOWL. He is the only one that finished his meal. My in-laws normally really like this restaurant but after this visit they Do Not want to return. Overall not worth our time or money spent.
Our waitress was amazing. Service was amazing. She was so friendly. Made out visit very comfortable. Food was hot and amazing.
Good food. VERY understaffed. Long wait for the food but they were generous with the chips and salsa.
