We waited for an hour and 30 minutes for our food. Tuesday, July 19. We received our drinks and appetizers. No salad or main course was served. There were 8 other diners (Who came in after us) that received there food. There were only 12 people in the whole place. We had to get to work, so we left.

Service was so so. Had to wait an hour to get our food. Ordered a 8oz med rare sirloin..got a 6 oz well done steak. Send it back and it was 8 oz but again not med rare. Once again we send it back. 10 min later finally got a med rare but it was the same steak that was on our plate. One thing is for sure, we will not return! Super disappointed!!!

The waitress we had was also the bartender, she was amazing, her name is Tina. She was the only one in the restaurant we saw running her rear off! There were only 2 complaints: it took a while to get our food, while people we saw come in after us got there's, but the manager made that better because they gave us a nice discount. Complaint #2, we were not told the plate was hot and I grabbed it and burnt my finger bad enough for it to blister. But I would say overall a very nice place to go.

I would give 0 stars if possible. We have had numerous problems in the last year at this location. But the biggest one was during our last visit. The bartender was our server and put drinks from other groups on our ticket. I had paid before I realized and they said they would return my money. We have contacted them multiple times about this return and basically get laughed at each time. We’ve contacted the local restaurant 2 times and corporate once and still no luck. We even had one “manager” laugh at us when we called about it. Highly disappointing.

We had to wait for a table for about an hour. Then we had to wait for our drinks for about 15 minutes. The waitress was great. The bartender however was mor concerned about the people at the bar then the one's who were wanting the drinks at the tables.

This will be the last time that my family and I eat at Applebees. The service was absolutely AWFUL, the waitress never checked on our table and walked by it many times. The manager took our meal, and I specifically asked if it was going to be a long wait, he told me no it wouldn’t be over an hour to get our food. Again waitress walked around and talked to the tables around us, but not once ours. 50 minutes later she finally came and asked us if we were doing okay. We said we were wondering where our food was, she told us that our food was all “green” but only one person was running food, so it would still be a bit. We watched multiple people take out food, so I’m not sure if she just didn’t want to run food or what. 60 minutes later we finally got COLD food, all of it was cold. We were very unhappy. We talked with the manager who in the beginning reassured us that we wouldn’t be waiting this long. We explained that his waitress never came to our table, we further explained that as customers of food is backed up we should be informed but there was absolutely nothing. They asked if we wanted our food warmed up, and we told them no after waiting for over an hour we had two very unhappy cranky kids. The waitress ended up throwing the ticket at us. We refused to pay after such horrible experience. We will not be back to Applebee’s in grand island! The service, and expectations for people have went downhill so bad.

Bartender was good. New to her job. Not alot of employees and very under managed. Management should allow the workers more tables to accommodate the flow of customers. Making folks wait when u have 3 or 4 servers and only allowed a couple tables limits the customers which limits profitability. Not sure other than. Was told kitchen staff would get over whelmed with to many.. my suggestion to management then would be either hire more help to accommodate more orders or get new staff that can handle it. I believe your not giving your staff a chance to reach their potential and .aybe the issue isn't the emoyees but management. So on the staff I'd give a 5 for trying to do more managment a 3 to many open tables and to many folks waiting. I've been there 5 times in 5 weeks and seen the same thing each time. Get it together owners and get new managers that know the value of the customer and the potential of employees.

Don't work here, don't take their food or drinks. This franchise deserves to suffer until it can from the top down begin to treat its workers right. People deserve to live off their full time work. Regardless of the job.

Stood there for over 10 minutes, there was no one at the hostess station to seat us. After watching several employees wait on customers, and even a manager walk around, I finally asked the employee behind the bar is someone could please seat us. All she had to say was "It's going to be about a 20 minute wait, sorry." I don't think I would have minded so much, if someone would have at least acknowledged us standing there. They all looked over and saw us, even the manager. They weren't even that busy, not even half full.

We were patrons of the Grand Island Applebees on 1-23-22 and Krystal was our server. We literally just drove from Wisconsin and we were starving and thirsty and had to settle on Applebees vs. BW's across the street as they were done serving inside. There aren't a lot of options available when you're pulling a 40' trailer. The service and the food was horrendous and we will never be returning to this place, even after we were warned by a couple of the locals. We ordered garlic parm wings and buffalo wings as an app and they came out dry with dipping cups on the side, our other party ordered something with chicken and broccoli and the broccoli was literally frozen and the chicken was cold, our other party ordered steak and potatoes and a side salad and the steak was so tough that she thought she was eating shoe leather. We tried ordering a last round of drinks at 9:58 and they refused to bring us another round and said that last call is at 10P. The drinks were actually pretty good.We get that it was a Sunday night, its slow, and you're trying to get out of there on time, but treat your customers with respect and dont try every trick in the book to squeeze them out 20-minutes early. The blue / green haired liberal looking sweat hog of a waitress was so bad that she didn't even deserve a $1.00 of a tip, but out of the kindness of my heart, gave her $10.00 to much on a $90.00 tab.
