Server staff ignored our table, even when we were looking at them and signaled to get some assistance. The food itself was good.
My mother, sister, nephew, and I all met up for brunch today. Melanie was the best server ever! The food was great and Melanie really made us feel comfortable to sit and catch up with each other. She was very sweet and attentive, we had a great visit because of her!
7/13/2022Sent my son in to buy 3 pieces of pie and Dawn, who was behind the counter was extremely rude, helped other customers WHILE filling my order, and then proceeded to shake the boxes the slices were in. These were for a special occasion so having the bulk of the French silk attached to the box due to her shaking it was very disappointing. Customer service here has declined severely over the years and today reminded me why we don't come to this location anymore.
Joy was a wonderful waitress and the manager on shift was pleasant too. We come here a few times a year and never have an issue of any kind, except for the Sunday crowed but what can you do about those people.
They were pretty busy tonight and you can tell they were getting overwhelmed a bit with how few people they had but they were still super nice and friendly. Loved our server, she was a blast, super friendly to my friend's kids and we all loved the enamel pins she had on.Great food and very friendly workers. Definitely will be back.
Tim the manager sat my wife n I. I received warm decaf coffee. Replacement coffee was freshly brewed. My wife had a great Reuben sandwich unfortunately she received the brown and burnt left in cooking basket. She was finished when fries arrived, fresh n hot. Definite difference. Tim never came by to check. Went to check out, no cashier, but came back from smoking (evident to seeing him hanging up coat. Will go to La Vista next time. Server did best she could which was fine! Thank you!
Always love the food from VI. They seem to be having more difficulty finding permanent employees and are often understaffed. They were short staffed on 02/21/22 when we were there. The food took a little longer, about 16 minutes, but the minimal staff was doing everything they could to keep up the best they could.
This restaurant appeared understaffed at the time we visited. Despite this I felt the manager and wait staff were on top of things. Our order (2 adult meals, two kids meals) came out of the kitchen 10-15 minutes after the was placed. I've been to this location before and had problems, but this time was great.
It was pleasant enough amd clean. The server was attentive. The multihrain pancakes are not as I remember them. They were very thin and felt not compley cooked. Over all experience was good.
I will be taking a break from here for a little bit. My wife and I tried the takeout option, and it was very disappointing. I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet, and for the most part, it was fine, except it was missing its fried onions, and that definitely would have perfected the dish. My wife ordered the French toast combo and only received a tiny piece of bacon instead of two, and they completely forgot her eggs in the order. I strongly suggest if you eat here dine in since I've never had problems doing that but this time lead to a big disappointment.
