Was here with my hubby for lunch and it was a great experience. Food was good, and the staff are pleasant. Our server (I forgot her name) kept checking on us and our food and if we need anything. Being that I used to work as a good server for 5.5 years, I appreciate servers who always make sure their customers are well taken care of. We will definitely come back here to sit down and eat. ????
What a wonderful place to eat...extremely friendly staff, very accommodating! My husband and I stopped in after church. He ordered blackend salmon, i ordered chefs salad. More than enough salad, ham, turkey etc....took half of it home. The salmon was cooked to perfection, green beans were my favorite and you could tell the mashed potatoes were homemade...we have been back, and will continue to do so...great meal!!
They have bubble tea! I got the chicken alfredo pizza and my dad got the taco calzone (pictures in this review) and both were delicious! We have also tried their chicken alfredo and I LOVE their waffle fries and onion rings. Service is amazing, we just so happen to always be seated with the same young lady and she is super sweet and very polite and attentive. Our goal is to try as many items as we can on the menu as there is so much good variety! Definitely worth a try if you haven't tried out their new location in Bellevue!
All the big cats know the many options will be cooked to purrfection. Lunch & dinner were both outstanding with incredible service. Cold beer. Friendly faces. Smiles and greetings added to the dining experience. Highly recommend.
So. I will preface this by saying our waitress is new and very nice. Great attitude.But... I was not impressed. We had several things go wrong. A group of six ahead of us were asked to wait while my group of two was seated.... at a six person table. Our drinks never were never refilled. My partners salad didn't come with dressing, and when brought up the server(not our waitress) was terse and brought out not enough to even cover the salad. On top of that our appetizer was delivered after our meals. On top of all of that our food was.... ok. It seems like typical bar food, overpriced at that. The recommended philly is done better and cheaper at other places. The salad was nothing special. The jalapeños poppers were clearly frozen store bought even though our waitress was pretty sure they were made in house.Big shrimp though.
We had lunch today at Moran's Grill at their new location in Bellevue. I had a chef salad and I'm sorry I already started eating before I took a picture but it was 5 star! It was huge and was so fresh. We also had a filet mignon that was perfectly cooked and their fries. Staff was super busy of course but really friendly and did a great job.We will be back to try lots of other items on their menu!
Overall super disappointing.I will say that the staff (Jamie) was SUPER friendly, the restaurant was clean with nice American Legion decor and memorabilia, and the drinks were nice (and well priced!).A lot of the food, you could tell came straight out of a can or freezer bag. The other big take away, if you skip everything else, was that all of the food SERIOUSLY lacked seasoning. Before I begin, I will also note that she mentioned they are more known for their wings which we did not get as we had already gotten wings earlier in the day. As long as they have a good wing and good sauce, these would probably be difficult to go wrong with.My mom, not a picky eater at all, couldn't finish her taco night American style tacos. I took 1 bite of the taco meat and I'm really not trying to be mean, but it tasted like dog food with little to no salt or any other seasoning to be found. The French fries were crinkle cut frozen fries with no seasoning. The tots tasted like every other tot in town (which is fine I guess?).The fried mushrooms were fine but those are hard to mess up. The street tacos (also a taco night specia) were saved by the sauce but were otherwise devoid of any salt or seasoning and were covered under a MOUNTAIN of cilantro. I love cilantro but i could have made 6 more tacos with just the cilantro that I removed. They were fine, but definitely not good. The refried beans were 100% straight out of a can.Last, my wife (also not a picky person), said her burger was also devoid of salt or seasoning. She doesn't even like that much salt on her food but it was COMPLETELY missing from the equation. The burger itself was also cooked into oblivion. The pickles and bun (nicely toasted brioche) were the best parts and the lettuce and tomato were good.Constructive Criticism for Restaurant Owners:Moran's would probably do better ordering from a proper food distributor like Cisco than from Sam's Club or Costco (what I suspect they're currently doing). Coming from a restaurant background, I suspect this would be more cost effective for them as well. Even going the extra mile to make things like their own refried beans and fries would be a huge improvement in both their finances and the flavor.Get a nice dicer from restaurant supply, chop a ton of potatoes, throw them in a few buckets of water and put them in the walk-in overnight. Strain them in the morning, portion them out into portioning bags or portion at time of frying. Pinch a little salt after frying or make a basic french fry seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, some other herb). Do a trial run and offer them as fresh house cut fries and see what people like better.Burgers? Form the patty, season both sides, let it cook 3/4 on 1 side before flipping and let it finish on the other (don't touch it other than flipping it once). Use a thermaworks digital thermometer if you must. Just don't overthink it, don't fiddle with it, and don't throw canned ingredients on top of the burger (as other reviewers have mentioned). These are some basics I learned in culinary school.
Food was extremely good, I had the mango habeñero and diablo wings and both were delicious. The cheese curds are also some of the best of any place in town. Definitely recommend.
Finally made our first visit after many recommendations from our neighbors. Went for lunch, and we were not disappointed. Great selections, ample portions and delicious! We'll be back!
I went to Moran's Grill tonight, and the food was delicious, I am very satisfied with the food. I will absolutely be coming again.
