If i could give this no stars i would. Everyone on here talking about food and service. I think everyone wants the actual truth.. the waitress running around right now is great. She is always staying busy greeting customers. The guy at the front to ring people up is just standing around on his phone. He took a call on his personal phone and made the 3 people standing there wait, truly poor customer service there. The food is good but by time you get to table it's cold, so that tells me it's not hot enough. And also the food labels are wrong above the hot wells. And then there was a guy here who threw 4 plates to the side as they were dirty. As far as cleaning while sitting here looking around it's actually quite disgusting, as being manager in food service for 7+ years I would be embarrassed if this was my restaurant. Dust all over ceiling and light fixtures the greese from the steam of food making the tiles disgusting looking and filthy. Then to top it off you have 2 upper management people here, I understand they are busy with talking to other managers and interviewing it looks like, but they should be paying attention to these details as well and addressing the problem right away. We are from out of state and I will say if I'm back in this area this is one place I will not come to again.
It was great ? except for the kids running around unsupervised and undisciplined...poor staff for them having to deal with I'll mannered children and their ill mannered parents! Whew! Must be exhausting! Everything else is great! Great food and great service. Very nice people!
Quality and flavor were up to good standards this time. Both seemed to be lacking a month ago. Food was also HOT which I've had a few times the the corn on the cob was still frozen in the serving pan. It was ab enjoyable meal
Typical buffet. After paying for our meals, we had to find a clean table...shouldn't have been difficult as it was not a busy night. We ended up having to locate a server to clean a spot out, then had to locate a different server to get us our drinks as the first server said it wasn't her section, and then walk around to find our server to get our drinks refilled. We usually only come here once a year so of course we'll be back. Just wanted others to know what to expect when they show up.
The only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because the food was decent. But my gosh, this restaurant was FILTHY! Food splatters all over the walls, mashed up food in the rugs, gross bathrooms, leftover food on the “clean” plates, kids being disgusting near the ice cream machine. I can’t believe management allows this place to look the way it does. At $16 per person I shouldn’t have to step on mashed shrimp as I walk to get my food.

PSA this is rather lengthy but it’s not about the rolls, it’s about the service. Me and my family came to this GC after church today (5/15/21) We walk through the door and the young lady making our drinks, was quiet and kind of down (I’m assuming by her expression) when taking our order. We move forward to the cashier, the young man rang up our order (67.00) we asked if he had a military discount he said no, but before we could say thank you he was no longer looking at us, but he was talking to another staff member and nodding his head. We find our seats and the waitress , Mary Ann was the sweetest most helpful woman. We go get our food I stop by the station for steak the cook was all kinds of rude. When I asked for medium well he cut the steak he was cooking and gave it to me saying it was medium well, but it was well done. They were out of rolls so I waited for the cook to help a guest and while I waited he rudely bumped into the cook next to him, almost making him drop an entire tray of chicken. I said excuse me and the cook finally looked up and I told him that he almost knocked the chicken out his partner’s hand. He gave me the rudest look after I said he should have acknowledged what he’d done so they don’t get burned. I’m still waiting for rolls so I ask a waiter coming out the kitchen, he said tell the cook at the steak station I said he’s rude and I’d rather talk to someone else, he looked and nodded his head like he already knew. He goes to the bakery where there are 3 pans of cooked rolls. I waited and a women comes out of the kitchen and goes to the bakery then I see the cook go talk to the lady at the bakery. I go stand by the area they are “supposed” to have the rolls to wait, and their are others in line for steak, by this time my husband is in line and he asked if he gets the ribs by the grill himself or will someone serve him. The cook said get it yourself because I’m busy, knudging toward the other guest in line. A lady comes by with a tray of rolls and pushes through the customers and changes the tray, never saying excuse me to the guest and pushed through again when leaving. One guest looked at me and said wow that was rude. I of course agreed. So I get my rolls and go to the bakery to ask where the butter was. There is no line, the lady in this area looks at me and walks the freezer to put a cake in. So I am patient acknowledging ok they are pretty busy. So once she’s done she proceeds to walk past me and I raised my hand and said ma’am, and she looked at me, and without moving closer, said what?! I said where’s the butter so she comes closer and said what was that, so I repeat myself. She walks away and speaks to someone, who comes to help me. I asked if she was the manager and she said she was the supervisor. I told her about the workers and said I understand they are busy but in this field they need better customer service rather than being rude. Sadly she already knew the 2 I was talking about. I thanked her for her time and she told me where the butter was. I go to my family and eat my “cold” food. This was the worst service we’ve ever had at a Golden Corral and hopefully they improve. The food was good, and the restaurant was clean and our waitress made sure we had any and everything we needed.
Glad to see GC is still on the map ? Good food , fresh , well made , great deal on dinner in today's world.
We had gone to have a late lunch. It was not too busy but still had turnover so the food was fresh and hot. The restaurant was well staffed and clean. There are hand coverings to limit contact with utensils used for getting food. I would suggest patrons take advantage of them. The bussing staff was quite conscious of clearing and cleaning up. This is one of the most impressive GC restaurants I've seen. I was so happy with the crew I left a generous incentive for them.
The food and service were great as always. I can never get enough of their fresh rolls with honey butter. The dessert selection is also really good with multiple flavors of cake, cookies, puddings, ice cream, and a new Icee slushy machine!
