Nicole was awesome! love the welcoming atmosphere, crew is so friendly. Food was hot and fresh and my ribs----I need to get more!!! Will definitely be back!
I decided to stop by for lunch today. I ordered a brisket sandwich and got a bag of chips and a drink with it. The staff was friendly and the facility looked very nice. Everything looked clean and in order. My food was OK. It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst either. It just didn’t seem fresh. I ordered a brisket sandwich and the brisket was a little dry. It seemed like it was a few days old. However, it did hit the spot and a child it down with complete satisfaction. I think my favorite part was the ice machine for my drink. I love crushed ice. And with such a hot day eating record temperatures it really hit the spot. A little odd a little different but it’s the truth. Prices were a little high but that’s not their fault. They’re just trying to keep their head above water and keep the business running. Yes I would return and if you’re craving barbecue yes I’ll recommend it.
I was very disappointed for many reasons-I placed my order online and sent in my husband to pick it up. He came out with two small bags and I wondered where the rest of the food was. Over half of our order was never placed in the bag-easily over $50 dollars worth of food. I went back inside with my receipt and asked the crew if they forgot the rest of my food and they just had never even sacked it up. They left out the brownies, ribs, sauce, brisket, fries, Mac n cheese, and our baked beans. When I returned to the car, I could smell the char on the ribs they had taken out of the oven. It wasn't a delicious smell of charred meat; but rather that of straight up burnt meat. At home as we unpacked our food everything looked legit by appearances (with the exception of the ribs which were quite burned) but the taste was very underwhelming and the meat was SO dry. The sides were bland-it was a mess. Unfortunately, I do not think we will patronize them again.
I’d like to give a better review but since apparently you can’t eat inside at 8:20PM I wasn’t able to sit down and eat. Good way to run a business.
Placed $175.00 order, went to pick it up, they hadn't started the order! Lady working there was clueless and uncaring, after 20 minutes, they slopped together the order, stuffed everything in one bag, BBQ sauce on top of everything, food containers were covered with grease and BBQ sauce. BBQ Brisket was all fat, chicken was dry, food was as horrible was the service! Avoid this location! I've never had a problem at any of the other stores locally, this was my first and last visit to this PIT..
Brisket is the best I’ve had in a long time. People were friendly and the place was clean. I’ll definitely be putting Dickeys in my rotation! Update: second time there in a week! Tried the loaded baked potato with brisket. Unbelievable! Keep up the good work!
Horrible. From the service, to the food. Horrible.Ordered 24 ribs with sweet BBQ sauce. When we got the order and took it home, we looked and there was no sauce on the ribs (or at least I hope there was no sauce, as that would explain the lack of flavor).Dry, flavorless, and definitely low quality rids. Thats what we ate tonight. I had to add BBQ sauce myself.As for the service, also bad. Two employees, a younger man and an older woman. Both looked like they were mad that we even showed up. I get that it's a low paying job and all, but their low effort attitude matched it for sure.I could've looked passed that if the ribs were semi decent... Never going again
Order was completely wrongMy Texas toast was put in a to-go bag with with my sauces. Everything was piled and smashed and turned it soggy bbq mush. Don’t bother calling because they haven’t picked up both times I tried calling for messed up orders and their voicemail isn’t setup to atleast leave a message. Decided to have an easy night for dinner but this place is the reason why people have trust issues. Just buy gas station food and a bottle of liquid smoke, then wash it down with low expectations. TRASH!
I'm North Carolina born & bred, so I know good BBQ. This restaurant (in Bellevue, NE) has good BBQ. I also had potato salad and baked beans... it was all good. The yeast roll was great and the sweet tea hit the spot. The staff was friendly and service was quick.
I don't know if their recipe changed or what but their ribs are way too salty and has too much smoky flavor. Plus almost every time I have gotten fried okra it hasn't been cooked properly cause the dough is always somewhat raw. I have gone there 4 times before I decided to make this post at different times and each time I have been disappointed. So that is why I have changed my review. I don't know for sure if I will go back or not but if I do I will repost if anything changes.
