For our daughter’s birthday and Father’s Day we decided to try The Trough. The food was very good and well presented. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful. My husband’s order came with some strawberry jam that was absolutely the best strawberry jam I have ever had! A hot biscuit, some butter and that jam is totally worth going back for.
Brunch with mimosas was delicious! Great service and had a great time.
Great food and an inviting old country vibe. It's attached to a small store and gas station. $2 mimosas with fresh OJ on the weekends, breakfast and lunch are all really great. Nice patio seating which is perfect on a sunny day. Everyone is super nice. Been here are least a dozen times and never had a bad experience.
Food is average, maybe a little above. Nothing exciting. They really need to be consistent on their hours of operation. On 3 different occasions we have driven out to the location to find them in the process of closing - 30 minutes before their posted closing time. We were told that since they were slow, the decided to close. Wonder how much business they lose with that operating procedure.
The food at The Trough was absolutely fantastic!! I had the salmon and seafood cakes with remoulade, and will most definitely be back to eat them again and again! The service, setting, and atmosphere were great too. I highly recommend eating there!
We went for Saturday brunch. Well staffed, quick and very friendly service. Food was good, we had the southern skillet and would order that again.

Food has been good quality at least all but one time. It is a bit pricey for a sandwich, $ 11.95 and up with only chips as a side. Only come here when I am feeling flush.
Best breakfast we have had in Missoula! The food was delicious, with portions that were large. The staff was friendly and working hard for every table! Wait time was not to long, no longer then anywhere else on a Saturday morning. Will definitely be coming back!
