Tasty bacon cheese burger. A little extra greasy but good. The fries were underwhelming. The wait staff was very polite and attentive. Price was fair for the portion size. Atmosphere was very smoky old diner in a nostalgic way. Tables were all largely dirty but they appeared to be understaffed. The present staff were working their butts off. Will definitely go back.
Anytime I am in Missoula, getting a JJs special is a must. The spicy gravy is amazing, I have tried so hard to replicate it at home, but just can't get it like theirs. They always make the hasbrowns nice and crispy. The staff is always friendly and amazing. Since they are always open, you have no excuse not to stop in and get a JJ's special. Treat your belly and tastebuds to this Dive Bar delicacy.
The food is very very good with plenty of options. And you can't ask for much more than a bar and a diner all in the same room. However, the wait is my reasoning for just 3 stars. With just one cook and two waitresses in the diner, I know they were doing the best they could on a busy Saturday morning, but waiting an hour for diner food is a little much.
Came in for Sunday morning breakfast and left without ever getting food. A very large group came in as we placed our order and we sat for over an hour and watched tables that were part of that group get their food before us. In over an hour the staff never even came by to refill our waters. The food looked good but we never got to try it before we told them to pull our ticket and left. Will never be back.
Awesome service and friendly staff. Burger was excellent and cooked to order.
I thought it would be a good place for breakfast. The food was below average but worse were the sad collection of drugged out looking people just hanging about. I'd never come back.
Only 24hr place open anymore. Busy but still got to us in a reasonable time. Food was good for middle of night and 1 cook.
The food is amazing and the employees are very nice and as quick as they can be given their circumstances. It seems like management likes to throw the poor employees to the wolves and train them very little. Also, 10/hr is *not* fair when they're doing so much especially the graveyard shifts staff.Pay your employees more, or they'll go somewhere where they will be paid more. Even KFC is paying 17/hr to start and their food is cheaper! You'll only have yourselves to blame if your business goes under. And no, I don't work here I work at a restaurant that does pay its employees well.
It’s THEE place for good food quick at good pricing. Gotta salute the cook hardest working dude I know. Wether it’s 12 in the afternoon or 12 am it’s worth it but trust me get there early the wait times are longer after dark!
My friend and I have been loyal customers to this bar for 5+ years. I have never experienced such disrespect from the kitchen staff member named Jeremy than I have tonight. Our waitress charged us for a to go order than was completely wrong and missing items. I was charged in whole for missing items. When I called back, “Jeremy” was rude and unprofessional when we asked if the order could be redone. On top of speaking over me on the phone and completely disregarding all forms of compromise, informed me that the order would not be redone and I would not be refunded for the missing items. Incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional, and unacceptable. 0/5 stars if possible. Not to mention a kitchen staff ran by ex convicts and prior inmates. Would not recommend to anyone who is in search of a pleasant interaction between customers and pitty kitchen staff hires. ??
