I love attending concerts at this venue, especially bass and dubstep, rock, and some really fun drag shows. The updated floor plan gives the interior a more open, yet more connected feel between the dance floor and bar areas. Staff is always professional and friendly.

I love the badlander! it's great! I go there every Wednesday night for karaoke...however, I used to enjoy it more when Reid was dj on Wednesday nights, he was fair and didn't take bribes, he made everyone take turns in the order they were assigned. if you guys hired him with better pay, Reid would bring a better stage presentation and make everyone wait their turn like all the other. you're wasting your time with these dj's that take bribes. Bring Reid back on Wednesday nights with better pay and we will have a better time.

Best dance floor in town. Also the only real clubbing experience in town. If you are visiting from a big city and looking for a taste of home this is the spot.
My band played a gig at the Badlander last night. The "sound guy" and bar owner, Victor, attacked our keyboard player for minor disagreements regarding the sound. We will be pressing assault charges. It was the most unprofessional display of behavior I have ever seen. He should not be allowed to continue to abuse people in our community. So many have agreed that he is rude, condescending and apparently will physically attack you. The rest of the staff is awesome, but Victor is ruining the music and the vibe of the Badlander. He should be removed from the position he is in, but sadly he will likely be the one calling the shots for a while to come.
