Had an experience where they forgot my cheese sauce and salsa and one of the tacos did not taste as I would expect... sent in a review that represented the experience with a reward of a $2 coupon to use next time. Here is why I give them 5 stars - they actually called me about my response, listened, and then exceeded my expectations to make it right! Way to go Kim and team at Taco John's!
We come here for the limited time fish tacos and now the shrimp tacos!Love the potatoe oles! They're like mini hashbrowns!Drive thru line is always pretty busy. They do make the food when you order so if you're looking for McDonald drive thru speed, this ain't it.
We live fairly close to this site, so we use to order from there several times a week. We've noticed that their service and food has gone down hill in the last year. At first we chalked it up to the pandemic but this last run through was the last straw for us. We ordered a bean burrito, extra lettuce with sour cream. I have posted a picture of what we got (maybe a tablespoon of beans, no sour cream, and barely any lettuce. We ordered a regular taco and it had sour cream on it. We ordered 3 potato ole's and received one. The potatoes we got were cold, stale and lacking any seasoning. We will never return. Ever.
Made it just in time for breakfast this morning and I'm glad I did. This was probably the best experience with breakfast I've had here, and I'm a regular. The breakfast burritos were perfection with a great ratio of ingredients. Even with my modification on my own burrito, it was done perfectly. I highly recommend getting them grilled! The Oles were nice and fresh, and nicely seasoned. Great job! Only reason for a missing star is that I'm not too thrilled with afternoon service (after 3pm usually.) so I try to go in the mornings exclusively.
Yes I drive a 18 wheeler n walked up to get some food. Can't go in for whatever reason, do I tried calling but they don't answer phones either.I was extremely disappointed with this location. Here I am attempting to patronize this business but they want nothing to do with someone walking up... guess it's too bad my vehicle won't fit in the drive thru.So yes I've nothing positive to say about this location and I was there at 12:00
Staff is always super nice! Best breakfast burritos in town! Love the potato oles. They are always so hot and delicious.
My wife loves Taco burgers with extra sour cream; every time we are on a road trip we stop at Taco Johns all along the way and for the most part they are fantastic. This experience in Missoula is no different. These folks had it together, fast, fast, fast--like you should run a drive through! Only challenge is getting to this location, I think they would do far better with an off exit location versus having to drive through Missoula, but as you can see the need for a taco burger outweighs the annoyance of driving there to get one; so what do I know? Great job Missoula Taco Johns, keep up the fire ?
I only hit the drive through for a chicken burrito to tide me over. It wasn't bad. Not great but a lot better than taco bell.
So happy they are still open early enough that those that go to work early can get breakfast! Staff is very friendly and professional , and if they are out of what is needed to fill the my order they make up for it.
Wife loves TJ's, it's a staple in Zootown.
