Absolutely awesome place! After reading the newer reviews the bar was set pretty high, and I was far from disappointed! Haven’t had quality Thai food since visiting Washington last! The food and service were as previously commented “20/10”Our waitress was so personable, attentive, and exceptionally kind for some of our silly questions! Also, instantly won my heart when she brought an extra side of spicy sauce without me asking!(I expressed my Spice Death Wish)Can not wait to come back and share this spot with my friends and family!
Great staff and the food is always so delicious. Absolutely love the fried wontons, chicken satay and my favorite the Yellow Curry.
The most important thing I will say about this place is go try it for yourself and don't let the negative reviews deter you from good food. The one star reviews about no flavor are simply not true. My mom and I had wonderfully flavorful curries. The prices are a smidge high but I would gladly pay it again for the great food and service.
I went in here to try a new restaurant and fell in love. The food was delicious and fresh, but it was the staff that left the amazing impression on me. My waitress was the best I've ever had! She was friendly, attentive, intelligent, well-mannered, sweet, and great at her job all while still in HIGH SCHOOL! Gave me hope for future generations. Then, a gentleman who might be the owner or manager, walks out on ONE LEG and MOVES tables for a larger party that came in for dinner service. He cleared tables, smiled, and had a friendly conversation with me. All I can say is IMPRESSIVE. Loved the whole experience. Side note: the vegan options are much appreciated!
We were very anxious to try Rice as our family loves Thai food. Our first time will be our last, I do not recommend. I realize they're new to town and I assume they're trying their best, I sincerely wish them luck but we haven't been able to eat Thai food since. :(
Before eating at Rice for dinner I read the reviews. I was surprised to see quite a few negative reviews for only being open a month. I will say our experience was far better than what other patrons have said. Maybe being open for over a month has helped? Either way the food was very good and the service was just as good. For apps we had the chicken satay and awesomely crunchy spring rolls (contrary to other reviews they were indeed crunchy.) Both dishes were tasty. For entrees our party had two versions of pad thai and one of the curry dishes. It was all very good. Even for a busy Saturday night, with noticeable to go orders heading out, it was a good eat. We will be back.
I've been to Rice Thai many times now...I'm working my way through the menu. Everything I have had to date has been wonderful...so full of flavor. I've worked up to a spice level 3 and still tasty without murdering my tastebuds. If you like spicy, that is a good way to go! I've been there now during both lunch and dinner service and the service is on point! It was a little rocky in the beginning service wise but I think they are hitting their stride. So, for those reviews knocking them for service in the very beginning...cut a new business some slack! Such a great little place!
I was super excited to try this new Thai restaurant in town turned out to be a big disappointment. Ordered green curry with tofu- way too sweet! Crispy spring rolls was tasteless, Tom yum with chicken again way too sweet and corn cakes no flavor and dipping sauce are like sugar syrup!
I really like the flavors here. Plus they have a lot of Gluten Free options. I was even able to take my friend that has celiacd here for lunch.?
Great Thai food and friendly service. There was literally a fresh lime leaf seasoning my soup - that's how you know it's legit. I also had the drunken noodles and it hit the spot and the portion size was big enough for lunch leftovers. Food came out in about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend as a go to spot!
