Worst experience EVER!! Will never be back. Asked for a large Detroit Deep cheese light on sauce. Got hardly any cheese and a Heap of Sauce. Save yourself the trouble.

Good food and more! Not just pizza! Today I had a chicken and bacon salad (trying to be healthy but not quite there yet!). I was so impressed, and it takes a bit to get me excited over salad. Fresh and delicious, special dressings as well as traditional ones, are not skimped on. The blue cheese dressing I opted for was thick, chunky and wonderful. Of course if you want pizza you come out a winner there too. I've eaten several pizzas in that building and let me reassure you...the pizza is worth bragging about! I recommend Old Chicago to everyone who loves a wide variety and super great food!

Extreme friendly staff with fantastic fast service. Recommend going during happy hour to bet the dinner crowd as there is always a wait. The Italian Nachos were absolutely delicious and large enough for multiple people as an appetizer or for a full dinner for 1 or 2 people. The pretzels with the beer cheese sauce were so amazingly delicious. The only downside to my experience was the TVs being a little too loud.
Parking lot was clean easy to navigate. Entering we stood at the host stand for 7-10 minutes before being greeted, yes I saw all three girls in the bar area watching us stand there, thanks for the help..... Service was decent at the table probably needed another server as ours was the only one we could see and she was behind the entire time. The decor was typical if the chain yet this old Chicago feels off small and crammed missing something the others have, the atmosphere and vibe is not old Chicago it's like family diner vibe, the food was below average, calzones we're undercooked, ( cook your insides separate then add them) some veggies cooked some destroyed. The kids spaghetti was bad .. like really bad... Wasn't even canned quality which I get it's kids spaghetti, but this was dry and the sauce like paste.... appetizer was good. Idk this seems like an odd Old Chicago and certainly the worst I've been to. We probably won't be back here.
Quality is definitely going down. Ate here when they first opened I loved it. Been back two or three times since and it's not the same. Good pizza crust, but the toppings aren't the best quality. I doubt we will be back.
The wait staff was really great. The waitress we had was training a new girl and from what I could see she was very good at her job. She definitely knew the menu. We had a great meal, and will be going back soon.
A keg of wings is 20 with celery and carrots. I had apple and thai something since I like sweet and not spicy. They were the best I have every had in the lower 48 states. The mashed potatoes were just good. The service was friendly and handled themselves well.
Took our son here for dinner (our first time going) and it was outstanding! It was our son's birthday and he got a free slice of cake! I had the BBQ cheese burger with waffle fries, boyfriend had the Hangover burger and waffle fries, my son had the kids peppy pizza. Our appetizer was the garlic cheese bread with red sauce. All of it was amazing!! Thank you chefs!! And the service was just as great .. MacKenzie was our waitress and she was very attentive to serving us. The greeting at the door was awesome as well. We will definitely be back because of the service we received!
