Mexican Moose is by far the best Mexican food in Missoula. I grew up in California and judge my Mexican food pretty hard and can honestly say that Mexican Moose goes toe to toe with the best. I am so happy that I have finally found a place to give me a taste of home!

Authentic Mexican food is difficult to find in Missoula. While you will still not find the variety, what Mexican Moose provides is as authentic as I’ve had here. On top of that Santos is a stand up guy, a man of his word, and can cook up a mean burrito.
Definitely enjoy their tacos, perfect balance of well prepared meats with onion, cabbage, cilantro. Good rice, beans and salsa too. Friendly, attentive staff. You'll see the truck out front, but they're inside the dark horse bar now. So nice to have a good taco spot in town!
