What a wonderful shop! I've been in with my whole family a few times and it's just such a treat smelling teas, and learning new things. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful for us newbies and she is so knowledgeable.During our last visit we tried the tea service and spent some time just enjoying cups of tea. The whole experience was a pleasure.100% this is the best place to get tea in Missoula, and if you don't know anything about tea it's even better!
Amazing customer service! The barista were so friendly, entertaining and helpful, and the tea was absolutely wonderful!!!♡ will definitely come again with friends!!?????????? ??????
Great customer service! Love how they make the tea for you and you pour it yourself. Never had tea with sugar cubes till today! And I'll say was the best decision I did today 100% worth it, absolutely love early grey blue and the early grey classic
Amazing tea! Beyond my expectations and well worth the stop! Delightful service and amazing blends! If you are in the area I would highly recognize them. I will be ordering blends online-they are so good!
Came across Lake Missoula Tea at the excellent Hummingbird Café in Butte, Montana. I so enjoyed the complex but clean flavors that I asked the waitress the name and website of their supplier and as soon as I got home I looked it up.Long story short, I spent way more than I wanted to. I had intended buying a big bag of "A few of my favorite things", but after placing that in the cart, I decided to explore the website and ended up buying a selection of nine other teas. The order was filled quickly (within a few hours) and arrived in my postbox within a few days.Everything shouts out quality, care and attention to detail, from the quirky and appealing names to the packaging and finally the flavor of the teas. I have tried out 5 of the nine so far and have not yet been disappointed.I never been a fan of herbal teas, but that appears to be the result of buying processed teas from local supermarkets. Now that I have tasted the real stuff, that has changed. "A few of my favorite things" has become my go-to after dinner hot beverage. I am still working through my purchases to find a go-to morning pick-me-up, with the "Earl Grey Blue" being the leading contender so far. While the tea is not cheap, it is definitely value for moneyI will be a regular customer from now on. Thankyou Hummingbird Café for the introduction, and Lake Missoula Tea Company for great quality and service.
I discovered Lake Missoula Teas at the Made In Montana show last year, and it has become my go-to for tea. I've tried many teas, but the varieties I have from LMTC are uniformly unique, fresh, and delicious. Now I'm even buying teas as gifts to let my friends and family know about them.

I don’t live in Missoula, so I was delighted to get a gift subscription - a “tea of the month” sort of thing. It’s such fun opening the box and discovering the newest selections! There’s always a nice note, with a couple handwritten comments. And the tea is always wonderful, and uniquely different from others I’ve tried before. Thank you, Lake Missoula Tea Company! Might I request, for my last shipment, a favorite from my last visit (maybe a double of the same): Evening in Missoula!?
Awesome shop. I just picked up a golden latte mix. So I can have my golden lattes at home! Finally ground spices of premium quality so now I can have a truly healthy coffee from my own espresso machine!
Love the tea but customer service is terrible. As I was ordering my cup of tea a couple barged in and started asking the staff member several questions despite the fact that I was in the process of being helped. Instead of finishing my order she chose to help them instead. When I brought this to her attention her response was, "I can help multiple people at the same time." Incredibly rude. I will not be returning.
