Great classic diner experience. Extensive menu. Value and quality for money. Really friendly server. Good to sit along window over river--lovely views. Dependable food,quality,and service. Highly recommended.
I was in Missoula for business and 4b’s was within walking distance of my hotel. I ate there for breakfast all 3 mornings. The food was delicious, good comfort food breakfast. The Denver omelette was filled with ham and veggies and cooked perfectly. The hash browns didn’t disappoint either. The Fast Break special was equally good. Brenda, my server, recognized me the second morning and by the third morning she told me to seat myself. She was working breakfast by herself and kept up with everyone’s orders, kept the coffee cups full AND worked the register! The restaurant was built on top of the river and the views are amazing! I highly recommend 4b’s for breakfast.

cream of tomato soup is still the best
We love to have breakfast at the 4B's every Saturday morning. Our server, Minnie, takes such good care of us that we feel privileged.
My order was messed up. Them when they took it back to fix it the mashed potatoes was cold and so was the gravy
The waitress was awesome. Had a great attitude and made the whole experience perfect.
This restaurant is now a Missoula landmark. While it has had various operators over the years the one thing that has not changed is the opportunity to sit and have a meal while looking at one of the most pristine waters you will ever see. It embodies what makes Missoula special. I hope it never goes away. I am happy it is a 4 B's now as they were always a great restaurant and likely still are. Never will you find a better Tomato Soup!
Took my friend here for here birthday brunch and it was the worst service i’ve had on my entire life. at first everything was okay but once we got our food our server (Bree) never once came back to our table. My friend had then complained to our server that she didn’t get any eggs in her meal (which it was supposed to have) and the server said “they are in there they are just scrambled” clearly seeing no eggs in the meal. After the fact my friend had order an extra side of eggs since she didn’t get any and it took 45 mins to receive those all while our server never once came back to the table. We sat probably for another 20 mins to get to-go boxes which our server (Bree) never asked us to get. Finally we had to get up and ask the hostess so get us boxes and the side of scrambled eggs. Terrible Service. No Tip. i had to repeatedly apologize to my friend for taking her there for her birthday because i was so embarrassed and felt bad of how we were treated.
Love 4B's! This particular location could use a bit of work. Especially a few booths that have holes in the seats. Food was great as always.
