Amazing service! So welcoming and friendly! Even the other customers were all super nice lol.I had to wait a short time for a table, as it was Friday evening and they were packed. But the bar is right up front by the hostess stand, so you can sip on a cider, beer or wine while you wait. And the bartender (owner, I think?) was very nice, chatty, trying hard to get me seated asap. It didn't take too long, well worth the wait.I heard they have the best rubens so I went for that and was not disappointed! It was delicious, with the thickest slabs of corned beef I've ever seen on a ruben, that just melted in your mouth it was so tender. I got the horseradish thousand island dressing on the side because I was worried the horseradish would be spicy, but it 100% was not spicy so I slathered it all over my sandwich. So, so good.The bacon mac n cheese was good too. The desserts all looked fantastic but I was too full.The only sad thing is that they're closed Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays because they do catering those days. I'm only in town another 2 nights and was honestly planning on going back both nights to try 2 other things on the menu. The brisket-stuffed baked potato and the smokehouse nachos. Both look so delicious. I'm disappointed that I won't be able to go back while I'm here, but I'm going to try hard to get back to Kalispell soon and I'll definitely be back then.
There is a reason why this place has such great reviews, great service and great food! It is small, so it would not take much of a crowd to create a wait, but we had lunch on a Thursday and they were able to sit us right away. Don't let the looks of the outside fool you!
We stumbled on this little BBQ joint and LOVED it! The food and staff are great, the prices reasonable and the interior is a kitschy ramshackle converted barn! Really fun. (Great Huckleberry cobbler). Nice selection of beers and ciders. A true original. When in Kalispell we’ll be back.
This place is totally awesome!! 5 stars all the way around- fantastic food, great service and extremely friendly staff! The sweetest waitress bought us a cheesecake slice for our anniversary. Then there’s Rob! Thanks for a great experience ??
This is a local favorite for good BBQ with great atmosphere. It is walking distance from any of the hotels on the north side of town. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes as well as sides including several preparations of mac and cheese, I love the pork belly collard greens. There are numerous sandwiches and platters offered including pulled pork and brisket, burgers are also available. The salads are equally as good if you are looking for light fare. The Frito Pie is an unusual way to kick off dinner. There is a small dessert menu to finish things off if you have room as the portions are generous. The space is very rustic with no shortage interesting artifacts. Good prices and friendly service round out the experience. BTW don't forget the corn bread!!
STOP ✋️... Hands down the best nachos I've ever had. They cook their brisket for 12 hours and generously cover your nachos. This can actually feed 2 adults. However, the smoked chicken sandwich with cheddar on a gluten free bun was definitely worth splitting. Their corn bread and honey butter was bringing me to another level. Without a doubt you'll be satisfied with such generous portions and friendly service.
Felt like family as soon as we walked in the door. The owner was constantly checking in with us and all the staff were super attentive even with the place being packed on a Friday night. The pork belly BLT was amazing!

Some of the best barbecue I have ever had! I loved everything about this place. The food is amazing, fresh and delicious. The staff was so warm and friendly and even though they were incredibly busy they are attentive and very kind! Can’t wait to go back. If there is a line, wait in the line. It’s worth the wait!
