ABSOLUTELY AMAZING FOOD! We took a whole.loaf of bread home-LOL ? ... but seriously A MUST FOR YOUR DINNER EXPERIENCE! If you're looking for a great meal with variety, more than generous portions and an attentive staff; this is the place to go! Our waitress Kelie despite many tables and being pregnant, was excellent. We had a party of 8 which included a 1 year old, 6 year old, and a mentally disabled adult that we had to split into 3 checks. It wasn't a problem at all. We stayed nearly 2 hours visiting and eating and couldn't even finish half of our meals. You get your money's worth, that's for sure! There's a casino and bar and it didn't even detract from making it kid friendly! I am highly impressed. We will make it a yearly tradition when we are all together.
Best place to eat in town!We had to check it out and yes! They were closing in a few minutes, but sat us and we are so pleased they did!You won't be disappointed earing at Nickel Charlie's!
I ordered over easy eggs breakfast takeout. Got home found eggs were over hard. No runny yokes. Hashbrowns still had raw taste. So ate toast & bacon. Good grief. Will check food from now on before paying. I gave good tip to server. All I wanted was good breakfast on my day off work. Couldn't get that.
Great for breakfast but go early. Gets super busy on weekends. I try to go before 9am. 10am or later, be prepared to wait for seating. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. The chicken fried steak is great!
I was in playing machines and ordered two french tips. Instead of telling me when they were ready , she let them sit until they got cold until I finally wondered what was up and went up to the bar to see had I known they were so cold she would have never gotten no tip
Love there food! Always busy, so we wait in the casino and get a drink when we have to wait. Customer service is awesome. Love their biscuits and gravy! Oh I can't forget thier fried chicken is wonderful too!
Their breakfast specials are only good till 7 if you get there later they will add $3 to their specials and then if you pay with the large bill the waitress will give you change in dollars but they will keep the cents and then if you asked the waitress she will say oh did you want that back meaning the change. And all the seat cushions need to be replaced. It is nothing special to eat there I will not go back.
We ordered a very simple dinner that should not have taken long to do. We waited an hour, finally decided to leave when they came with our salad and meatloaf. Our waitress was rude and very snippy. Won’t go there again.
Went to Nickel Charlie’s for breakfast was in there 10-15 minutes before breakfast ended we were told to wait it would be a few minutes to be seated. So we waited and then after we were seated I asked if we were still able to get breakfast the very rude waitress told me it was 11:30 and that breakfast had ended. Even though I told her we were in there before 11:30, the customer service at Nickel Charlie’s has declined and we will not be returning.
Took my family here for breakfast today and it was great! Service was friendly and fast and the food was wonderful. It was busy on a Saturday morning, so be prepared to wait.Will be back again!
