Great atmosphere with awesome service. We need more restaurants like this in the flathead valley and Kalispell.
The host, server and live music were wonderful! The restaurant noise level was excessive for visiting across the table. The entrees were very well presented and tasty as were the mashed potatoes but the carrots and mac & cheese were too al dente and not as good as they could have been.
Limited menu, fair ambience. a little pricey for what you get.
Amazing staff, from the host to the servers and kitchen personnel. The best steak I have had in a long time (filet). Great atmosphere and l am really looking forward to experiencing live music with dinner sometime. Was informed of the multiple restaurants and now I want to dine at every location. Excellent place for our business meeting but I would love to take my wife for a date as well. Very impressed with questions that are prompted during reservation process. All the details equate to great service and ambiance paired with 5 star food. Mercantile Steak would be my go to for date night in Missoula, hands down.

Music could have been a lot quieter so that you could hear the other people at our table talk. We were disappointed that we couldn't converse with each other, that was why we went out to dinner. The food was good I would recommend it for that but give caution about the noise level.
I love when chefâs prepare foods that I wouldnât make at home! The Halibut with a garlic gastrique over chopped veggies topped with minced fresh herbsâ¦drumroll!!! WAY WOW! Never underestimate the value of tarragon!
The food was pretty good except for the onion rings. We were enjoying a visit together after a year and spent over $140 and after 1 1/2 hours they asked if we could leave??? We hadn't even had dessert. My friend was mortified and wont be going back.
Enjoyed our evening out with the family. Popovers were to die for and our steak was prepared perfectly
