DO NOT ORDER ON THE APP. After waiting an extra 40 minutes for my food in the "chipotlane" they hadn't even made the order. They grabbed my ticket and threw it together as I sat at the window waiting some more. I had ordered (and paid for) 2 salad bowls and a quesadilla. Both bowls ONLY had a small scoop of rice and a handful of meat. No lettuce, no cheese, no beans, no salsa or guacamole. The quesadilla order came without the order of rice, guacamole or salsa and the side of queso was a no show. My $30 got me a 40 minutes in the "chipotlane", two scoops of rice a handful of protein and a cold tortilla with cheese. Zero help from the window employee as well. Deer in the headlights. She shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know how she could help. yikes!
If I could give less than one star I would. Terrible service terrible food quality from a corporate chain. Would really appreciate being contacted about situation .
First off, this location just opened, so let's be understanding and patient to the growing pains of a new location. However, that being said, management and ownership could have handled this launch much better, and I hope they make it up to the community that expected better. That being said, here is a list of things that need addressed...1. When items run out keep a dry-erase whiteboard when you walk in the door as to what is missing and keep it updated to the hour. Worst thing is for a customer to sit in line and find out later ingredients are missing.2. If you are missing items that normally are included in the menu item, you need to offer a percentage discount. Otherwise you are simply overcharging your customers for ingredients that aren't available. This happened to me and while wasn't a big deal, I did assume there would be some sort of a discount. And yes, those ingredients weren't on your "out of ingredients" sign upon entering the location.3. I hope you are paying your employees a bonus through this launch. They are working hard and deserve all the credit to making it happen.
They didn't have any lettuce, guac, mild/medium/corn salsa, pico, sour cream or shredded cheese. The portions of rice, beans, and meat were miniscule. The cherry on top of this underwhelming meal, they still up-charged me for queso when they were out of all other toppings.
Took the family there because they were excited to try it. 60 dollars later with no drinks for a family of 4 I was shocked when I heard the total. Then we all had the steak that was like shoe leather and I watched my wife and kids battle through it and then give up and throw it away. What a absolute disaster of a meal. Never again will I waste my money on this place. For that price I can go to a real restaurant in town and actually enjoy a meal. Thankfully it was a unanimous family decision when we were leaving that it was horrible and we never want to go back. Thanks but no thanks chipotle.
Don't listen to the one star reviews. They're all mad about long waits and low supply. IT'S THE RESTAURANTS OPENING WEEK. lol. Of course there are going to be abnormal waits and supply issues. The entire valley is trying to go all at once. My wife and I ate there. The food was delicious, the staff was kind and the management was very helpful. Excited we finally have a chipotle in town!!
I genuinely felt bad for the employees working at this store. Where is the owner/management/leadership? You wait in line for 30 minutes (not a problem, we knew it would be busy) then begin to order… they were out of beans, chicken, steak, salsa verde, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, chips, queso… skimped on rice - presumably almost out too? When you are out of literally out of half of the ingredients on your entire menu it is your duty to tell customers before they start ordering. We ended up paying $25 for food we don’t even care to eat, only because we felt so bad for the people working and were basically socially pressured into paying for tiny portions of food we didn’t care to eat. Close the store early if you don’t have the food. I wouldn’t have left one star if this situation was properly managed. I hope those employees have better days ahead.
Finally got a chip in town, did not disappoint
