The soak in the hot pool was divine! We were enjoying the music from the band and then the waiter came around and brought me a beer, poolside and then just before the restaurant closed, he was able to put in a food order for me! Wonderful service from the waiter and I didn't even catch his name! Grilled cheese w/ bacon and fries was amazing! We will be back! :)
Good food and good prices especially because it's attached to the hot springs.
So i started off with a nice soak and a beer. About 8:30 I stop into the restaurant, i was greeted as i walked in all things were very good. I ordered the daniel dip (French dip) came out quick good portions. Very happy with the whole experience this far. I took 2 bites of the sandwich and immediately notice how salty it was. I asked the bartender if he had ever had the sandwich and if it was normally very salty. He replied yes, but he has his with cheese and peppers. He walked to the kitchen and came back said that the kitchen said that's how they are I said ok, may i trouble you for a slice of cheese he promptly retrieved the cheese. I took one more bite with cheese decided I could not eat more. Asked politely for the check. Where the experience turned south was when i nothing was done to improve my experience with the sandwich. Any actions at all to improve the situation by the staff and I would not feel robbed and would not be making this post.
On June 21st At 8pm We walked into the restaurant and sat at a table near the bar, we were completely ignored by both waitresses while they leaned at the bar talking,and bartender for 15 mins.(there were no other customers) when I asked a waitress if someone was going to help us she laughed and said "sure". I would give a review of zero if it were an option and will be telling anyone I know, friends,family,clients and strangers not to waste there time.
I wish I could review the food, but after waiting over half an hour after ordering without getting our food (and being literally the only people in the restaurant) we left. We sat for 10 minutes before the server even acknowledged us, and he remarked that the restaurant doesn't open until 11. Cool, it was after 11, so what's your point? Highly unlikely to come back.
HOLA!...Helena...and Broadwater Hot Springs Pool and Spa and Tap House is THEE place to go for F U N ... Food Drinks ... Live Music ... and (of course) the new and improved and renovated hot springs!!! 22 MONTANA craft beers on top...fabulous nachos, Caesars and 5 star excellent service (Thank you Jacob, Mellissa and Kyler...) A must stop when in Helena, MT...
Typically good food but cheap as owners. Seriously its 16 degrees and no heat in the restaurant. Used to work here years ago and they always cheap out.
If no stars were an option I definitely would have chosen that. The food quality was absolutely atrocious. We ordered the Montana nachos to soon figure out that they were covered with shredded cheese that had not even been melted. We waited over 45 minutes to receive these meals. My mother ordered fish tacos and received them with mostly hamburger in them. This could be a very bad situation for someone that cannot eat beef due to medical reasons. Overall the food was less than desirable.
Ordering your food requires a separate app on your phone. Then you have to serve yourself. Average bar food. Drinks from the bar were served with waitresses which was good, but served in plastic cups which is likely part of Covid requirements, but takes away from the experience of enjoying a meal out.
The beer came in a plastic cup. The $12 Burger was worth $6 at most. We had to get our own napkins and silverware. The fries were literally the worst fries I've ever had in Montana in 20 years... And then when the bill came, we were notified that it was an extra $5 to substitute cheese. No thank you, we won't be back. I would highly suggest not eating here.
