Our waiter, not going to mention his name here, did his best,but still has a lot to improve on. He could become great at his job if someone would teach him probably how to wait tables.Besides that we just waited a bit too long to get our food served. Great food though.?
My husband and I ordered steaks - his medium and mine medium-rare. However, when they arrived mine was medium and his medium-rare. Frustrating as they were two different cuts of beef. Baked potatoes were good and the salads- although on the small side - were great. Really loved the addition of dried cranberries. We shared dessert which turned out to be the star of the meal. Two large scoops of Huckleberry ice cream with with whipped cream and edible flower petals. Friendly and attentive service from a German waitress.
I ordered the New York strip and it was the worst steak I have ever had. Bitter burnt grill taste was the only flavor. The quality of the cut was horrible as well. The scalloped potatoes were swimming in melted butter… not creamy/ cheesy like they should be. A mediocre Caesar salad or unseasoned bland cauliflower is your only option for veggie and you wouldn’t even know it because the menu does not specify that either one is an option. Our server Ramona disappeared for lengthy time and had to be reminded to clear dishes and refill drinks .. she failed to let us know they were out of certain menu items so we spent 20 minutes deciding on an appetizer only to be told they are out. Had to ask for a kids menu when you clearly see a kid at the table. Didn’t think to bring a cup with a lid for the child. Just really incompetent. Overall a poor experience but at least now we know where to never eat in Helena
Poor service, poor quality of food and outrageous pricing! We were there last night for over 2 hours for dinner and waited over an hour for our entrees which arrived cold and totally unseasoned! I could've and have cooked better steak at home for half the price! For a so called fine dining experience they have a lot to learn! My son treated us and the bill was over $300 and not worth it at all! Save your money and go someplace else! There's a lot more I could say, but I'll just leave it at that!

The atmosphere is beautiful! The bar tender and hostess wonderful!! The waiter was not very friendly and the food was a huge disappointment for this foodie. The $11 Cabernet (wine) was wonderful, but the crab cake was tasteless. The baked Brie was good but very small. The spicy shrimp gnocchi was terrible! The smoked salmon pasta was dry and flavorless. The shrimp Alfredo was jus OK. The bread was pretty good. The basic “included” house salad was plain Jane from a bag and your only choice of dressing was ranch. The dessert we had to beg to hear about was incredible, but boy did the waiter try to talk us out of it. So strange. If I have another 2 1/2 hours to dine and spend money it will not be here. Sad.

This was our Anniversary dinner and it was excellent. Our server was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we fully enjoyed our time there. It was a nice quiet environment and the food was great. We received a free dessert for our Anniversary. We will definitely return for another great experience.
