Definitely better BBQ out there. Chicken was raw, coleslaw was way over spiced, baked beans tasted more like chili than baked beans and the mac n cheese was rather flavorless. Not quite sure what the sauce was on the side but it wasn’t good. There were 7 of us total and we all threw our food away without eating it. The 2 girls working however were very nice and respectful.
Not for me. The brisket meat on my sandwich was good and it was a generous portion. The rest was rough. Didn't have the first three items we ordered from the menu tonight, so finally just ate what they had. As i said meat was good but our takeout order didn't have enough sauce to even taste on the sandwich so I can't tell you if that was good. The baked beans were mediocre and the Cole slaw was inedible, like scooping mayo into my mouth. Overpriced even if it was good. I think I will give this one a pass.
Food is cooked on a food truck, then transported to this brick and mortar establishment. Best BBQ in Helena! The Brisket is moist, flavorful and well seasoned with additional spices ( not just salt and pepper). I don't know who the chef is, but give them a slap on the back, high five and raise! Well done and thank you for understanding how important it is to gave a good smoke ring on smoked meat!!
Was having a beer at Headwater Crafthouse and was given an awesome free sample from a long haired fellow from Rockstarr BBQ that was awesome! Went over and got some great dinner! Very nice people and good bbq!

Outstanding breakfast sandwich! The brisket egg and cheese is easily my favorite take on a steak and eggs breakfast. The employees are kind and happy. The space is bright and the architecture is unique for Helena dining. I wish I had taken a better picture of the sandwich but I just wanted FJ eat it.

LOVE seeing Rockstarr around town. So personable and professional, whether you’re ordering for a party, wedding, or just stopping by for a quick BBQ treat. We always order for holidays and stop by any chance we get because it’s just that damn good. I dream about the burnt ends >:)
